Her and Casey's concerts at Idlewild are just over the top fantastic. Just the two of them jamming on stage for over an hour had me glued to my seat. The woman can do things with her voice I did not think possible ror a human and Casey can play any instrument he puts his hands to. It's all about the jazz.
Love Haley, she's got a really good album of mostly cover called What's That Sound. I love her versions of Can't Find My Way Home (Blind Faith) with her dad at Chess records and also a nice music video of The Letter (The Box Tops). Also, I know you did some Dea Matrona recently but I got into them based on their busking covers of Oh Well (Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac) and Crossroads (Cream/Robert Johnson) then their at home covers done during lockdown. Dea Matrona's also covered Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Rory Gallagher, Van Morrison (Them) and Stevie Ray Vaughan to name some covers originally by male vocalist.
@ ooh, you put me on the spot. I’ll give you some choices. Early busking videos from Belfast of either Oh Well or Crossroads. There’s a quality video of a short set from the Close Encounter Club which I think shows a good representation of a cover and original performed live which has cover Oh Well and originals Nobody’s Child and Make You My Star. This video shows them swap instruments and each take vocal lead. make You My Star went #1 on the iTunes a rock charts after an appearance on the TV Late Late Show and that video is also a good one, since it’s a live tv appearance. The song Wilderness performed live in a Big Room which was taken from them performing their entire album just as it was released. All these songs are rockers. If you want to go acoustic then they just released an acoustic version of Stuck on You from their upcoming acoustic EP. My favorite song off the album is Black Rain, but there is no official video, just audio and some fan recorded live versions, a couple are pretty good but I’ll have to to find those links.
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow sorry for the long answer to your simple question. I’d like to see the live at the Close Encounter Club. It’s a good representation of Dea Matrona live. It’s about 10 minutes long.
Scott Bradley of Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) is the genius who adapts these contemporary songs and makes them sound like they always belonged in the era and style of his arrangements. When Haley collaborates, she brings the arrangements to life. Her performance of Creep is a masterclass in vocal technique. She has all the tools and knows when and how to use them. Seven Nation Army, on the other hand, is possibly their best match of genre to song. This is a great first experience of Haley’s original’s. th-cam.com/video/fbEW8BrNctI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JAIj5SXvo_sM9Uvb It is a performance of “I Don’t Know How To Love You” direct to vinyl live in an historic Austrian hotel.
This was recorded by HaleysTusk. I’m sure you’re going to hear from him with the technical details. Also I believe this video got a positive review by The Zombies.
If you read the comments onscreen, I was on this live stream when he decided to do this one. He does live streams in support of independent artists who are women
💜💜💜👽👽👽Haley, Morgan James, and Floor Jansen are the three best female vocalists on the planet. @@JohnnyFoxtrotshow No worries! I'll be looking forward to that reaction. Strongly advise you lay off the Monster for a day ahead of time, and have a large glass of icewater nearby; maybe even a fire extinguisher 😀.
Here is a great video to watch. Haley Reinhart, Slash of Gun's and Rose's, and Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge covering "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. It was a TV special celebrating Mohammed Ali's 70th birthday in 2012. th-cam.com/video/pZwbL4s1Rr4/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared

Great find Johnny, love that girl's voice no matter what genre she is performing.

Ah she did one of the only covers of Radiohead’s Creep that I like, with the Postmodern Jukebox. Her voice is 👌🏻
I've been told that is pretty awesome
Pretty awesome is an understatement....

Heres another comment to tell you to check her cover of creep with post modern jukebox.
You should also look at their cover of No Doubt's Dont speak.
