Overcapacity is a huge problem in Asia but when China does it is 10 times bigger. The root problem is the cultural behavior of Asia entrepreneurs. They are mostly risk averse and will invest on something that already works thereby expanding capacity for the same market and brewing resentment. Just look at Hey Tea he came up something innovative mixing cheese with Chinese tea, now you see so many copy cats just two metres away.
