Batman Forever is a massively underrated Batman movie. On the one hand, its a little dark and serious and Val Kilmer nailed the solemn, tortured, cool Batman persona....on the other hand, the movie is still comic-like, with all the comic elements and styles of a comic adaptation.
Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were not dark at all. Both movies were terrible. The onlyn thing that kept batman forever from not tanking was Jim Carry as the Riddler
thebritish25 No that's the Michael Keaton Batman. Batman Forever is the one in which Robin is introduced, Jim Carrey plays the Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones plays Two-Face. It's also the movie that had the iconic Seal song Kiss from a Rose on its soundtrack.
lnfreeman And which is the one with Danny DeVito as the Penguin that's Michael Keaton as well isn't it ?? also are any of them worth a watch I've only seen three Batman films The Dark Knight - Fantastic The Dark Knight Rises - all right Batman and Robin - WTF I've dropped turds better.
I agree about the character, and Kilmer's performance, but why ruin that by making some bad prequel and driving it into the ground? In show business, "always leave them wanting more," is the best policy.
@@WalterLiddyyea. People love to conjure up spinoff ideas they think they'd like, that they wouldn't actually like if they actually got made (these countless online musings of fanboys almost never manifest, thankfully)
Okay not in that regard. I mean because nobody thinks of him when it comes to Batman. Name some Batman actors, and everyone would probably answer West, Keaton, Clooney, Bale, Affleck etc. but very few would say Kilmer.
Aww poor Val hes obviously the best Batman and one of the greatest actors of all time yet nobody seems to remember him these days. It was nice to see him in the cowl again tho.
It pains me that this is the first I've heard of this show's existence, however... I am glad to have something good to watch, it's been a hollow field of late.
Well my friends i think he is Hollywood's biggest Cameleon. He played an indian (Thunderheart),Elvis (True Romance),Jim The Doors Morrison, etc. and Batman FOREVER!!!!! I was always a Kilmer fan. Just like now. And Forever.
John Ferris The proper way to say it is: "There is AN "H" in chameleon" Not "A". The pronunciation of the letter itself is a vowel, not a consonant. Also: Derp.
Val kilmer, is awesome Jim Morrison, Doc Holiday, Red planet, Real Genius, Top Secret, and of Batman and etc he's awesome. "Mambo, Jimbo get me something to eat"!
Val Kilmer was a better Batman than Bale. I just can't take Bale's gravely voice seriously. Kilmer found a much better tonality, even if he had one or two silly lines. Also, Kilmer had the cooler looking sonar eye lenses.
He wasn't a better Batman, but he COULD have been. Bale and Keaton are the best Batman, and Kilmer would have been on the top if a shitty director didn't direct him as Batman.
"Are you an actor?" i lost it. That's great.
DashCat9 😂🤣🤣
DashCat9 hahah I Can not stop laughing 😂
It’s hilarious, his face is on a poster right behind her! 😆😂🤣
That girl has nailed it :D
That actress certainly can play a totally clueless nincompoop! At least I hope it's an act!
"How is it fucking Adam West? He's about 85." LOL!!
You really heard that ?! Thank some random supreme being for pointing that out to us, morons !
I live how Val is making fun of himself. I love it!
Anyone who can make fun of himself to give a smile is occasionaly entitled to laugh at another - especially when no money is involved.
It's Bawtmawn.
nobody talks about how val kilmer's "routine that kills" is putting on a batman mask and staring with a blank expression 😂
I think they wrote that as a joke, you know, because it's a comedy programme...
@@Space_Ghost91 they didn't write that as a joke
@@shodancat1000 You must be right. Why would anyone writing a comedy programme write any jokes for it?
@@Space_Ghost91 exactly!
val's facial expressions here kill me. hilarious, man.
You mean his mouth expressions?
Yup, Kilmer trademark..!
"is it the cartoon version?" Dying! Can we PLEASE put her in a movie with Aubrey Plaza?

Thank you vinny for making me watch this
No matter how many times I've seen this clip. it still makes me laugh.
I still say they shouldda made a Doc Holliday solo prequel film after tombstone. That character was just too fucking good.

Val was actually one of the best Batmen. Even Bob Kane said that Kilmer was the one who came closest to his vision of Bruce Wayne
Val was a great Batman sadly let down by a so so movie. I think in the Burton or Nolan movies he would've been incredible.
They're all great including Val
I personally prefer Keaton but Val did a better job than George and Adam.
@EmilyGloeggler7984 I wholeheartedly agree
Kilmer was way better than Keaton lol
Hilarious, poor Val xD
He was better than George really, Batman Forever has something at least which is more than Batman and Robin!
"Had something at least" his name is Jim Carrey
@@evanbelisle8464
It has more than that: Val is actually good.
Val Kilmer is one of the most under rated actors alive today.
Heat
Tombstone
Batman just to name a few amazing performances.
Macgruber
He was amazing as Jim Morrison in The Doors.
And of course Willow
When he said "Who's under the mask" I thought she was about to say "Bruce Wayne".
Ba’mawn
I can’t explain why, but since this clip I can’t not think of it every time Batman comes up.
“How is it fucking Adam West? He’s about 85!”
He was great as Jim Morrison in the film 'The Doors' Easy his best performance.
"You're an actor?" LOL
I like the part where she says buttmarle
Val just got this straight away, its so good his whole part on the show.
Is it the cartoon version? I fucking lost it😂😂😂☠

I feel sorry for Val Kilmer
Okay not in that regard. I mean because nobody thinks of him when it comes to Batman. Name some Batman actors, and everyone would probably answer West, Keaton, Clooney, Bale, Affleck etc. but very few would say Kilmer.
To be fair, Val had a MUCH better film than the trainwreck Cloony had.
@@johnpenguinthe3rd13 True, but Batman Forever was already taking a pretty deep wade into the shit pool. Batman & Robin dove right the fuck in.

Rosamund hanson and the character she plays in this is brilliant
Probably the biggest actor out of the lot of them.

Val Kilmer!!!!!

These talking head scenes remind me so much of Christopher Guest films.
Fabulous !
haha, she's such a good actor.
Until Christian Bale came along, I think he was the perfect Bruce/Batman combo. The brooding, the charm, the physique, and the mysterious side.
Val Kilmer was my favourite Batman 😍
Now so was mine.

Reason Ben Affleck n Robert Paterson weren't mentioned was Life's too Short was made before those actors took the part.
Val Kilmer - good to see a 'star' that's willing to laugh at himself without getting all butthurt.
