well the 1G's are 2 decades old so that the time when some solid maintenance is to be done, nothing lasts forever as much as i wish it did. My car is at 158K miles original engine and trans still running strong (knock on wood) but normal maintenance on these cars is a must otherwise you'll be draining you pay checks on them all the time. I love my 91 laser id hate to see it go if anything were to happen to it.
i think its cuz theyre a pain to work on i spent a year and 700 bucks tryna get this thing to run right, alot of the dsm parts are not interchangeable. i cant lie though this car was alot of fun to drive when it did run right.

well thats exactly my point these cars are impossible to bring back to life once they die. they are nice cars though

Why all the neglect for these cars? Geez i feel like i have the only Laser thats not rigged to shit on the inside as well as under the hood.
