- Where I get my CAPO products: www.kaioz.net/ In today's thrilling episode of RCSparks Studio, join Jem and me as we continue our captivating journey through the latest build series, unveiling the cutting-edge steering system meticulously designed by Capo Racing. This third installment of our build video series is not just another step in the assembly process; it's a deep dive into the innovation and precision engineering that goes into creating an exceptional RC experience.
As we meticulously follow the instructions, we tackle the installation of the front bumper and servo assembly, showcasing every step with clarity and detail. However, our build takes an unexpected turn when we discover that the NSDRC servo, initially chosen for its superior performance, presents a challenge with its offset to the spline gear, rendering it incompatible with our setup. This twist in our build narrative highlights the unpredictability and problem-solving aspect of RC assembly that we all cherish.
But fear not, RC enthusiasts! In a stroke of foresight and preparation, Capo Racing saves the day by providing a Power HD servo that, while offering slightly lesser torque, perfectly fits our needs for this specific application. This episode is not just about the assembly; it's a testament to the importance of adaptability, the excitement of overcoming obstacles, and the joy of seeing a project come together with the right components.
Expect detailed insights into the leading-edge steering system, a closer look at the components involved, and our hands-on experience dealing with unexpected challenges. Whether you're here for the technical details, the problem-solving, or simply to enjoy the journey of an RC build with us, today's episode is packed with the passion, expertise, and community spirit that RCSparks Studio is all about.

It's so cute that you are getting to build something with your beautiful wife need more can not wait to see the final build ❤❤❤
Jem's little giggle is too cute
What a pice of kit!!!! B E A UTIFUL!!!!!!
Usually when I watch stuff like this I Usually search it up to get an idea of what is being built but I am holding back with this, only seeing what you post as you post it, can't wait for finished product
Looks like that little monster is coming along nicely.
awesome.... just awesome, keep up the great work dude, thanks for the updates
I can’t wait to see this beautiful beast fully put together, I’m loving this build series man
Same here dude! Thats gonna be a unit
That steering setup is wild!
So tight. Like a glove!
Those CAD instructions are Saweet! I wish all builds had that option.
High end parts , beautiful rig when it’s done. What a perfect winter project 👍
Dirty servo talking!!.love it!!..
I.F.S interesting can't wait to see this thing completed!
That steering is amazing. It looks like it will work really good when its all done love how you two enjoy the build together
FANTASTIC QUALITY BUILD!!!
Man this thing is something else! Over built is an understatement. Cheers
Love that rack and Pinion steering set up.. and the back flip you did yesterday..
I am floored with the quality and such innovative design of this build. Let me not skim over your build prowess, licking the bloody E-clips is brilliant!
Once I build another 20-30 kits I should be ready for a Capo... 🤟🏻
Awesome teamwork!!
I am loving this build and how you are filming it. I enjoy Jem's involvement also. Go Team!
wow rack and pinion steering has entered the rc hobby awesome 👊
Shakeit mrs RCsparks!!!!! Meerowrrrrr!!!! Hey!!!!
Can't wait to see the finish product 👍👍
NSDRC is my go to servo company. The RS1 is amazing!
This build is awesome! I am hooked for sure.
What a nostalgic channel
That is so cool that's like a real rack and pinion steering is what it looks like
Really enjoy your build videos, and nice to see you both together. I’ve been following this build since the beginning, and it’s lifted my spirits no end the past few days in particular as I have been unwell with a bad cold. Hope you guys are keeping warm and look forward to the rest of this great series!
That's awesome
Swell build U2!!!! Thanks!!!!!
REALLY enjoying this build series, Aaron. What a masterpiece of a rig - if I could afford one I'd be building alongside of you & Jem.
I can seeee clearly now.......my glassessss arrrrrrr onnnn!!!!!!
Another enjoyable video - thanks to you both! Looking forward to seeing the final item - but I'm so happy it's a slow burn - best way for the awesome things in life.
Love the way this steering is!! pretty epic!! another great vid!!! so glad to see you and your lovely lady doing this together!
I'll still watching, here's your emoji 🇨🇦. Keep it up!
Green Locktite is my go to. Wicking for POST assembly. No need to tear apart to apply thread lock, tooth pick diped then apply at the thru hole. Works awesome.
I am investigating that my good friend, thank you for the tip!
Amazing kit medic and gem
Very cool build live the way you leave any mistakes in as not all let you see an honest warts and all build! 🙂👌
super leuk, geniet er van
Coming along NICELY! I imagine I'd be on it for HOURS and get it together but that wouldn't work well for views I guess.
Really cool series. Looks to be an incredible kit to build. Would love to build one of their kits, the GTR, and this rig look look amazing.
Awesome build
I really hope you upload a 20 hour uncut video of the entire assembling of the kit.
cad assembly 👍👍👀👀
😅 love this build series. Some extra lights would be great though.
Love this build just thought it was funny im not the only one building today i did made a short video getting my truck ready for my second ttc will be doing another video on it
Watching you build, while building, is the best way to enjoy the hobby.
Awsome build as normal ❤️❤️
I would buy just for the assembly process😊❤
That is art, almost ready to bash it and fix it 🤣
Reminds of big wig steering set up great vid please bring back skate park of pain that huge bridge jump i watch couple of times of year bud
Awesome
I have a Power HD servo in my 10th scale crawler. Works great.
This build is amazing and it's great watching you guys build it together. And I don't mean to nitpick but I think the light bar mounting pieces are backwards, I couldn't get a good look though.
Love it
Nice video and awesome car 👍💪😜👋
That's cool
Such a cool build. Looks so fucking minty
I can imagine you pair doing a parody of the electric six video 'high voltage' 😂🤣 #when we touch when we kiss 😅❤
Would be sweet to have 1 to assemble along with you 2
Truly an amazing build. Looking forward to the test run. But don't do any big air flips and break it. lol
I love the orange Capo because It had that motor that moved question when you unbox this I didn't see the same thing does it have a motor✌️
I have a few of those power HD servos they are good for the price
I like it
Instead of the rubber "o" rings that you must cut out of the constant velocity axles , would carbon fiber seal rings work better ?
God, I wish I could afford CAPO r/c's at this moment. And someone to help build them correctly haha because I know I'd make a tiny slip up and not notice it naturally leading to a costly catastrophic failure
The steering mechanism reminds me of old tech /cheap and cheerful no servo needed , not that I'm saying it's a bad thing as it's a new take on the old system and probably more robust, going to be interesting to see what the results are in steering response and strength.
Beautiful is all i cam say😅
I feel like that steering gear is cool, but it's gonna suck if the servo strips the teeth out of. Used to happen to me all the time with the aluminum horns, but there shouldn't be as much stress on that
That is wicked steering setup, bit shame it's not universal but still pretty cool
Good stuff dude. She’s hot
You have got off Your original floor mat that made you grate . Well keep up the good work. Maybe you will find your roots again. ❤ from glens falls
Im just an aging fella enjoying his hobby. I dont want to be great.. I want to be me :) Im not for everyone.. ❤ from Nova Scotia
Please make sure you use the receiver bypass or it will burn up
Please don't take offense, but I do agree that 'sometimes' it is better to watch your wife do the screwing. Also I am curious about the fancy steering unit that attaches directly to the servo. Do they ask instruct to center the steering bar or align it a certain way so the overall steering throw isn't biased in one direction of the other?
with a kit of this quality, you should invest in a torque screwdriver I have not seen any toque settings in the computer build manual, but you can find an online torque chart for all screw sizes.
Capo
Let’s please see some rock crawling videos from you sir
you dont need much torque the gearing in the steering part has mechanical advantage through reduction in the steering gear
Can you please do a review on the omni Terminator it just came out and it's supposed to be a real good car for the price!
gwan
Screwed so nicely.....loctite that shit!!!!!!
Wait how are you going to center the servo? Is it pre centered 😂jk I’m not experienced with kits but I’m not sure maybe you should setup the servo
If I’m wrong totally apologize
Do you think Capo would sell me just the rear end and steering linkages Nissan Titan project
My son had two of them go up in smoke with little to no use in both.
Umm the light bar brackets are backwards looking to me.
12:48 - Maybe you've already caught this in edit, but the e-clip was smashed and fell off when you checked its fitment with your index finger.
This steering type (rack and pinion) is not new - Tamiya Bigwig 1984.
is your candida problem done?
Candida problem gone.. but the damage it did remains..
than i think its not all fixxed, if everything is fixxed you should look at least 10-15 years younger/better than with it@@TheRealRCSparks
@@ottskopf thats assuming that Candida is all that is wrong with a person
no i dont assume this than there are more problems there to fix gojiman for example often said candida is mostly just a small part of a bigger puzzle. My candida doesnt go away atm but have sibo too everything diffcult you know it@@TheRealRCSparks
@@ottskopf thats horrible my friend.. I really feel for you. I have been down terrible and horrific pathways for years with what I thought was sibo, but was not. It was candida.. and it is fixed now, but the damage it did made it so I cant eat even a hint of dairy, NO red veggies, no peppers.. no sauces.. its bruuutal. This is my life now .. i feel you broski
You may not be a surgeon. But you are Medic... DJ Medic.
Speaking of, did you cover your tattoo?
Hello
Set up for
Noooo don't do rigorous testing. This this is a work of art. Make a course out of styrofoam but a realistic looking 😂 protect this machine at all costs
I’ve always called them Jesus clips.
i think the cad movie is a bit much, i prefer to just build from exploded views
So many of the TH-cam channels are plugging this model as they have got it for free, I don’t think many people have actually bought any at almost £1,600 here in the U.K. !! Great model but too expensive for what is basically going to be a shelf queen as it’s too nice to use and parts are probably non existent ?
DON'T BREAK IT
