Some generic lifts in M&S in Brent Cross shopping centre pre doored! It was the left lift. I filmed it a little more than a month ago. They were perfect pre-doors as well. As soon a the lift stopped the doors would finish opening. They had Stentorgate. Thyssenkrupp was responsible for this mod. I feel like a lot of TK Lifts I have been in recently have pre-doored. There were two extremely nice 80s/90s Thyssens in Dr Martin's Shoes head offices in Camden. Fast for only 4 floors, 1.6 m/s. I have no footage of these lifts.
Ooh very nice! ThyssenKrupp seem to do good generic setups. Unfortunately these have had pre doors disabled. Interesting that Stentorgate can pre door, I've only seen some Elan lifts in Watford pre door, and they're generic Stentorgates!
Plus I *used* to have an old Furse lift in my local M&S, modded to Ace lifts in 2005 before completely replacing it in 2019. I couldn't be bothered to ride the new replacement.
These lifts? I disagree - there aren't many ILE's around in shops these days. The buttons and indicators I admit are very common, but the rest is unique.
These had slamming doors in 2012, before the original Schindler doors were replaced with Wittur Doors. I have to agree that this lift is polite. The door timer will increase if you pass the beam sensors while the voice is announcing "please, mind the doors".

@@CoolDrake910_Official Which store is this?
@@MichalM referred to the reply above I made, it is M&S in Liverpool ONE.
@@CoolDrake910_Official Oh Liverpool, that poor ACE lift. Huge lift though!
Typical British elevator, more polite than other elevators

I was in Horsham the same day you were there!
Are you visible in the video?
@@MichalM don't think so
@@LondonAndSouthEastTransport When did you go to Horsham? This video wasn't premiered on the same day that I filmed it.
oof rip lift
Yes they did pre door but ever since a few years ago, it was disabled :(
Typical generic quality
Generics can actually be very good, these were very good about 7 years ago!
