Have you seen the erasable pens by Frixion? I use those in my planner. They erase very well. Not sure if the ones you have are erasable but just a thought.
Mine aren't erasable, but I did think about it. I have heard people say that if you take them out into a hot car, etc the ink will disappear since they erase from the heat of the friction. Have you had any issues like that? It would be nice to be able to erase when we don't accomplish what I'd hoped in my planner!
@@livingthegandeelife5565 I've never had that issue. I just read that somewhere else. I've used them for 2 years with no issues at all. I mainly use the marker pens. Fineliner Marker pens is what they are called. Never an issue.
With being on the road, how do you keep residency wherever you’re from for homeschool purposes? I just wondered how that works. I love planners! The Simple Plan looks like a good one. Keep us posted on your son’s planning.
I will keep you posted on how the planner works for Gabriel! As for our residency - our permanent address is in Ohio and so we report to our local school district each year regardless of whether or not we are there the entire school year. In Ohio I have to send in a letter of intent to homeschool and have either an assessment or testing done that I turn in each year along with my letter of intent. As long as I do these things I am in compliance.
@@livingthegandeelife5565 Oh gotcha. My inlaws rv full time and they chose a different state for residency than where they lived before. It’s interesting to me how all that works.
No, I definitely don't think it's bad. I really don't do a whole lot of planning either. There are many days in which I have to go back and change what I had hoped to do to what we actually accomplished. Hence why I only really "plan" a week at a time. However, with traveling full-time and being on the road I found that we were still trying to finish a couple subjects over the summer. My hope was in looking at the whole year, that *maybe* I can avoid that this year! Haha! But I totally get the idea of record keeping rather than planning. I would say I kind of do a hybrid approach of the two! :)

I have the same planner. Love it. This is my second year using it.
Awesome! That's great to hear!
Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome!
I also color code in my planner and it's great!
That's great to hear! I'm hoping it works for us!
Is it bad that I DON'T plan 😬
I just move onto next lesson and write what we did that day in my planner... just record keep
