+Diomil Montes de Oca Best ryu that we know of. Wait until Daigo shows up. He might just prove you wrong. That's what the japanese are saying apparently.
+Skeptic Gamer exactly we haven't seen all the ryus yet just the ones that happened to be at those events plus some from those events may have gotten better
you're right, Daigo may surprise us. but at the moment he's not participating in tournaments so saying Tokido is the best ryu right now is a 100% accurate statement
+Donald Mokgale This was like the biggest thing on my list for SFV Ryu, especialy since I saw that they gave him Denjin. Figured we probably wouldnt get donkey kick since they wasted it in that piece of shit SFXT.
Supremely disappointing. To be honest i also would've loved it if his super was an uppercut based like shin shoryuken for a fucking change can we get a more stylistic ryu, he's been the damn same since forever.
Yeah, I really see any reason why each character doesn't have a choice of at least 2 critical arts. Ryu is bit more fluid and his combos are a slightly remixed, but he's more or less a rehash of sfiv Ryu. I'm glad he got Goukens forbidden shoryu as his ex uppercut, but I'd still prefer a chin crushing upper cut super like Metsu shoryu from sfiv. Or they could've put him on some ss3 goku type shit and made an actual dragon come out.
You know what I'm saying?? I agree with you about the ex uppercut that very refreshing to see and his target combo with the roundhouse is very good looking. An uppercut critical art would've been so epic, I'm tired of fireball supers ffs!! The sf3 fierce also looks awesome.
Guys, every Ryu can be boring with fireballs from time to time. Unfortunately it's a fundamental of this game, and Ryu might be one of the character that relies on fundamentals for success more than any other. You're either a troll or scrub if you're dropping complaint comments about it. Proper fireball game and timing are a must. With the damage this mofo puts out in this game, the prior damage is key, and fireballs are great for either taking little bits off or causing white life. In any case, it's not like we haven't seen Tokido going in at events stunning people and hitting confirming clean shit left and right.
Also a scrub if you consider such a beautifully measured and nuanced fireball game "boring." It's not in the slightest, it's incredibly exciting and something that any player who isn't a dumb fucking ignorant shit scrub could appreciate. And furthermore, it's not an unfortunate fundamental of his game, it's in fact one of the most potentially complex, vital, and exciting, and Ryu is UNDOUBTEDLY the most fundamental of all characters in this game and the series as a whole, no question. You're only slight better than the stupid-ass fucktards who have no appreciation or understanding of it all. All of you should shut the fuck up and educate yourself before you spout such inane bullshit, Permaleaving this vid and not reading any messages in reply so this is our last contact. Deal with it. My facts win, your bullshit loses.
His patience is amazing, it takes a lot of bravery to pick your spots and not freak out and throw hands too early
This match was madddd!!!
"Akuma-style Ryu"
Flagged for clickbaiting.
Best Ryu
It's a little early to say who the best ryu is there's only been 2 premier events both within the first month of release
+Fake Count would saying "best ryu atm" help you?

Tokido is amazing at reads and adapting.. That's all this was.. If anything, this was the most "Ryu" like play-style he has ever had.
Loving this Bison in the real :)
akuma style ryu is a very good description. I really just wish they brought back his donkey kick in this version and his sf4/sf3 low med kick.

+Donald Mokgale all we can do is tell ourselves that this game is young and trust in combofiend to deliver and implement the word of the people.
more like guile-style, ggs
can't wait for the ryu style akuma. must be great. wtf
They already made Akuma in the game.

Ok buddy. Whatever you say.
How do you stop a combo by using your reversal gauge?
+dkhampho v-reversal can only be performed during block stun. The command is forward + PPP/KKK (depend on the character). hope this help.
@2:20 how the fck does he do a CA in like .25 seconds? is that even a double quarter circle?
I find Bison a tough match up as Ryu. After watching this I'm realizing I'm probably not patient enough.
what if street fighter v added style like in mk10.
I would be the first black person to do a school shooting if they did that.
Is that Bison a top player? Or did a random online Bison just manage to mop the best Ryu in the world in one game out of three?
So Bison Used No Supers And Dropped Hella Combos
LoL
He Better Then Me
But
That Was Sadd As Fk
