Mam I didn’t understand 12 th answer.. Because in code 26670 it’s written carpometacarpal But in our senario it’s only metacarpal or is it because it is requiring anaesthesia?
Mam.i have a doubt For the question no.8. 3 muscles have gives so we use 20553 and the have mention the needle so in option C 27096 is given ,but there is no imaging so we eliminate that and the discription say is the imaging has not done use 20552 So why don't we use option B
Hi, Check Parenthetical notes under the code 27096. We have to code it only if CT or fluoroscopy imaging is done. In the question there was no CT or fluoroscopy imaging so we should "not" use 27096. Only code for trigger point injection.

We will use 27096 only if radiologic guidance is used..
And we are not using 20552 because in our questions there are three muscles not 2.
