I think the question shouldn't be whether or not it's easy to get admission into OOU. I dare say it's not ‘easy’ anywhere.
You should rather be concerned about studying well to pass your exams and the post-UTME with good grades.
With a positive mindset, diligence in study, and of course, God, rest assured to be admitted.
When I wanted to choose OOU, I heard a lot of discouraging tales. Some even told me the school priorities indigenes of Ogun State first. And I was not an indigene. Hehe. Well, I went back and prepared really well for the exams, and guess what? I got admission to study the same course I chose! In fact, my name came with the first batch of the admission lists.
