Thank you for the explanations... My mom and MIL always tells don't trun directly while sleeping.. If I want to turn always I have to getup and turn.. This makes me feel more uncomfortable because while sleeping always I have to be conscious on this.. Can't sleep properly..
Why do they say to not sleep on your stomach after the first trimester? I mean, I have seen 1 video on how to sleep on your stomach in the third trimester and it involves forming a square of pillows in 2 layers with a big enough space for your abdomen. And it isn't like sleeping on your stomach would restrict blood supply like sleeping on your back does. And it wouldn't hurt the baby due to the amniotic fluid. I remember once having to sleep on my stomach for 6 weeks because I bruised my tailbone and that made it painful to change positions but if I was standing, I wouldn't have as much pain. If I leaned forward while sitting, I also wouldn't have as much pain. I always went slow in the transition to minimize pain. If I slept on my stomach, it would be painless, but if I slept on my side or my back, it would hurt a lot so I kept sleeping on my stomach for the whole 6 weeks that my tailbone was hurting. Nothing bad happened and I was breathing fine.
