I'm also interested in the wear and tear of your Chanel pearl, since you seam to be one of the only TH-camrs (that I know of) who actually use the bag and benefit from having it in a very practical way, which is an inspiration! I have a huge collection of luxury bags Hermes Chanel and Louis Vuitton Dior so I understand what your saying about using certain bags It’s so true your style changes as you age I am a pink lover so most of my bags are different shades of pink I have the Hermes in 30 in pinky beige color I find although I love the look I don’t grab it as often it’s big for me I’m 5”1 small framed so I do love my pink Hermes 25 I usually carry that in the summer and my Hermes 25 Black in the winter . I’m also re evaluating what works for me what I find is I use my LV mini boite chapeau a lot it’s small I can cross body it . Depends upon my outfits or mood that day. I love the pink mini Kelly but I don’t seem to grab it as much ? I find it’s harder to get into. You have a lovely collection and your making me really like that yellow? I’m not a yellow person lol 😂
That pink channel mini is everything lol can't afford it but that's on my dream board😂 im so picky with pinks and thats the right shade Love watching your videos while I eat breakfast ❤
I feel exactly the same about the boy bag. It was also the first Chanel bag that I felt in love with more than the classic flap. I have sold it twice and regret it twice. But I didn’t even reach for the bag. First time I bought it I only use it once in almost 2 years. Second time I bought it and didn’t use it since bought it so I guess it was time to let her go. I will definitely miss it but I don’t want to hold into things I don’t use anymore and that I could use the funds for something else that I will truly love. I also had the speedy first in 30 then in 25 and ended up selling it brand new. Best thing is to let go on things we don’t use anymore or haven’t use at all.
I think that it’s normal that we get bored of some bags, it’s okay to not keep them forever even if it is expensive! When I wonder if I should part with an item, I compare it to a new item that I like at the moment and wonder if I could swap them and be happier with the new item, if the answer is yes then I know I’m ready to sell the old item 😚
Of course, when you have so many bags, they don't get so much use as if you had only few. But your taste and style might change in a few years, and you'll want to wear those older bags again.
Red empriente speedy as a top handle is my most used. Daily use and love that I’ve had it for so many years and is a fraction of the p90 which is a topic that puzzles me that no one has brought up. Pay 10x the cost of a leather speedy for slouch? I don’t get it. Least used for no particular reason is cassia hobo.
