- Happy almost new year ! this Quest Was so long I Had to break it up but Im releasing the next part tomorrow morning , to keep the adventure rolling, I very much hope you enjoy as we follow some directions to a location in Wyoming where we can search a creek for fossils from the Green River Formation, and start to stumble onto the local silicates, the prospecting had started at this point and the quest just kept going , come see some of the treasures found ! Happy new year!!! I live in that area and I can take you to where there are slabs of the clams and shells the size of your car! There are also turtle shells in that area, I love finding the agate, there are some nice ones with nice dindrites in them. I hope you hit the blue forest in your route, you were only 35 miles from it. Sure glad you got to find some shells tho. It's amazing how big the green river formation is. Someone worked really hard to hide that car!! @@QuestForDetails

Hi Nate. The Green Formation is on my bucketlist of places to visit. Although you found some wonderous things... that vehicle was a weird relic with a mystery surrounding it. Quest ON!

Wow! That car definitely looked suspicious! What a neat area. And the agate you are looking for is called turritella agate and those spiral shells are turritella shells! It's a really cool and beautiful agate, one of my favorites. I hear from anyone who polishes them with a cabbing machine, that it stinks to high heaven when you grind or cut it. But it does really well in a tumbler and polishes really well, and doesn't stink! Lol! I wonder if those green rocks were jade? And even that dark red/tan piece you got. Jade comes in many colors. And Wyoming has some of the best nephrite jade in North America. And it's frequently green/reddish brown in color. Those shells were awesome and that claystone material can take a polish too. Ive got turritella agate in clay and not the brown chert like is commonly seen. I don't know if that lighter material is chert or not and that may be why some polishes and some don't. That was a great video and even after all this time away from home, you both thirst for the details of every quest. And you don't hesitate to stop and quest, even though you are getting so close to home! What a great family you are. And a fabulous environment to grow up in. Always questing and learning stuff about the world around you, wherever you are. No wonder you and your family are so positive and happy. I could have used some of that growing up. I'm just glad I can quest along with you and Mom now! Thank you Nate and Mom! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope that 2024 brings you both great health, wealth, and happiness and the same for everyone! 🎆🎉🥂🍾🥳🎊🎇❤

could be, but the small town near by was almost in sight, and sometimes thins are hidden where people are still watching, it was for sure hidden, a braver person than I can explore that secret, lol, happy new year !
