This song is pernamently stuck in my head. What an absolute banger. Awesome melody, harmony, riffs, James' singing, atmosphere, lyrics... Love the heck out of it.
No one does harmonies better than Metallica. They’ve been doing it longer than just about anyone in the industry. This album has a lot of harmonies btw. It’s not like…a rare occurrence.
YES! This is something you CANNOT argue with. NOTHING will beat Metallica’s harmonies! Especially when people who do Metallica’s tone tests do mini covers of the harmonies
Best song on the (very great) album and an incredible video as well! Love everything they’re doing with this record. Everyone is writing and playing their asses off. This is a win for metal. 🔥🤘
did you really wrote no one does harmonies better than Metallica, cause after listening to In flames I find your comment ignorant, especially older albums from them
I keep coming back to this song. This album has grown on me since it came out. Room of Mirrors is one of my favorite modern Metallica tracks. The harmony sections are absolutely beautiful. The last 3 songs on the album group together really well.
This is by far my favorite song I put this album right after Justice 5th best one on my list, I'm proud of James and his voice sounds absolutely awesome
They really put their influences on their sleeve on this album. Even with the conscious call backs to their past. It works well with the sort of theme of the album and it's name.
Really disappointed this banger is buried so far into the album haha. It’s f’in brilliant!! Probs my fav. Haven’t found them playing it live yet though? Saw them in Madrid back in July. Epic two nights!
Best song on new album, only song on new album without live appearance yet. I think there is a scheme, they do not play stuff with harmonies live. AJFA (track) has epic harmonies, they played it live two or three times. Struggle Within intro, epic harmonies, NEVER played the intro live.
i bought this album and the fact that these guys are professional musicians great sound the melodies and harmonies everything about this record is all killer no filler
Metallica doesn't get enough overall credit for being great composers. Movie soundtracks and composers get all the praise, but these guys seriously know how to take their time and let each piece breathe.
Best song on the album honestly, the post solo harmony might be the best thing on the entire album. Just cut the wah part of the solo for something more interesting and win!
I just wish that someone had told them in the studio that those harmonies are fucking sick. You sum up my exact thoughts at the end of the video. Why is it all end loaded? Why are the only songs that are 5 minutes long (barring Lux) not pre release singles. I would have been excited by this album release if Too Far Gone and this had been singles. I'd probably have still come out of it cold overall, but going into this album, I fuckin hated it up until those last three.
There is so much Carl Jung psychology in this song and video. Jung psychology says that in your dreams a house is the symbolic representation of the psyche. Metallica is taping into the collective unconscious as Carl Jung would say. I would suggest looking up Carl Jung and everything will make sense to this song and video. The Archetypal stories and archetypes of the psyche. This is why Metallica has always been a big band.
Oh yeah definitely. Kirk is a great personality and a true part of metallica, but I would get a third guitatist in the band for the fast shreddy stuff and a third guitar harmonic.
The album should've been 6 minutes long. Just piece all the harmony riffs together and call it a day. And what's up with Kirk's solo's always repeating the same lick 4 times and then moving on to something else where he continues to do the same with that part?😂
That video is cool as hell. Reminds me a bit of the video for Saturnz Barz by Gorillaz, though mostly cause of the flying eyeball monsters and THE BATH! and also, for some reason reminding me of the coverart for Alice in Hell by Annihilator. It awakens strange memories in me. And yeah, that harmony gave me goosebumps as well. It's so damn good.
Omg that melody gave me goosebumps as well... I love when they do that.
Great moment!
Whomever said, "St. Manga", you are very special to me and I love you!
This song is pernamently stuck in my head. What an absolute banger. Awesome melody, harmony, riffs, James' singing, atmosphere, lyrics... Love the heck out of it.
bro the harmonies never dissapoint, holy shit dude!!!!
No one does harmonies better than Metallica. They’ve been doing it longer than just about anyone in the industry. This album has a lot of harmonies btw. It’s not like…a rare occurrence.
Iron Maiden as well but I mostly agree
Maiden, Judas Priest
YES! This is something you CANNOT argue with. NOTHING will beat Metallica’s harmonies! Especially when people who do Metallica’s tone tests do mini covers of the harmonies
Avenged Sevenfold , Iron Maiden , Arch Enemy and Trivium
@@abrahamalonso4407 Every band you named but Maiden was inspired by Metallica though
First time i heard a new album from metallica and my soul just jumped into heaven hearing this 🕊🔥 5:02
It’s James’s voice that adds that icing on that part
Best song on the (very great) album and an incredible video as well! Love everything they’re doing with this record. Everyone is writing and playing their asses off. This is a win for metal. 🔥🤘

Awesome reaction! Was part of the animation team for this and shadows follow. Glad you enjoyed it 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Wow, thank you for your hard work! Great videos!
@@Chainbrain Appreciate it 🙏🏽 the teams loving the reactions
Just to say congrats, man for you and the team, it's a sick video.. for a dope song... 👏🤟 question though, why Jason Momoa on bass? 😂
You know a Metallica classic when you get goosebumps and chills.
I keep coming back to this song. This album has grown on me since it came out. Room of Mirrors is one of my favorite modern Metallica tracks. The harmony sections are absolutely beautiful. The last 3 songs on the album group together really well.
Those 3 are the last season
The riff after he sings set me free sounds like lords of summer
Areyouokani?
The key change firing the vocal line towards the end is amazing.
This song really sounds like they were channeling Mercyful Fate.
Fans will be singing the harmony part on live concerts, it's gonna be great.
This song still hasn't been played live yet 😢
@@Chris-db5gy Unbelievable ... but time will come
THE WHOLE '72 SEASONS ALBUM GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS LIKE SERIOUS!💀🤘💀 KILLER VIDEO!!!!
5:03 This harmony hits my soul. So moving.
this is by far one of my top 5 favs from teh new album, also HI CHAINBRAIN!
hi!
You got goosebumps because of the harmonies and Lars doing a double pedal run along with it.
This is by far my favorite song I put this album right after Justice 5th best one on my list, I'm proud of James and his voice sounds absolutely awesome
SAME HERE I AGREE 💯
Sorry I posted this at a weird time, but I wanted it live before the song playthrough!
HERE IT IS: th-cam.com/video/3ZAkil2kJL0/w-d-xo.html
I'm hoping you upload the entire album reaction
They really put their influences on their sleeve on this album. Even with the conscious call backs to their past. It works well with the sort of theme of the album and it's name.
That video was insane and epic song also.
Really disappointed this banger is buried so far into the album haha. It’s f’in brilliant!! Probs my fav.
Haven’t found them playing it live yet though? Saw them in Madrid back in July. Epic two nights!
The signing is incredible, the riffs kick ass
Regardless the opinion on the rest of the album, I’m glad they made this song for it. It’s really good and I’m sure it’s gonna be great live
Where do i begin with this song: it outright fucking thrash harmonic heavy metal all over!!!!! A hidden gem on 72 seasons! 🤘🔥💪🔥😎
I love the goosebumps. When one really connects with music. I get them multiple times on the new record 🎧🙏
Cool video and James vocals are fun. Also: HARMONIES.
I probably annoyed my roommate with the amount of times I replayed the whole harmony section, the double bass part was the cherry on top.
I wouldn’t have been annoyed if I was that roommate. I would’ve loved it
Finally some chain reaction lol this song is a banger bro
Best song on new album, only song on new album without live appearance yet. I think there is a scheme, they do not play stuff with harmonies live. AJFA (track) has epic harmonies, they played it live two or three times. Struggle Within intro, epic harmonies, NEVER played the intro live.
Looking forward to seeing this one live... the best song of the album so far. Great reaction video, man 🤟🤟🤟
i bought this album and the fact that these guys are professional musicians great sound the melodies and harmonies everything about this record is all killer no filler
Picked this as my favourite after my first listen to the album
Metallica doesn't get enough overall credit for being great composers. Movie soundtracks and composers get all the praise, but these guys seriously know how to take their time and let each piece breathe.

I love this song and it's fun to play live it bro❤
Reminds me of Dethklok Metalocalypse
That video is so cool I wish I could pinpoint what exactly it reminds me of
It seems so familiar but I can’t pinpoint it
Castlevania.
Best song on the album, and best video by far!
Now THAT is more like it :D
Metallica's best Thrash Metal song since the 1980s...
I wish Metallica would release a whole album of Hardwired the song type songs.
I love the video :))) and the song.
This song is "The Murder One" of 72 Seasons
Fuck no
I just wish that someone had told them in the studio that those harmonies are fucking sick. You sum up my exact thoughts at the end of the video. Why is it all end loaded? Why are the only songs that are 5 minutes long (barring Lux) not pre release singles.

After fiirst 5 albums they are can do whatever they wants!

i certainly can see that some of the music on this album could be used for some anthemic content happening
let's be real. We all listen to modern metallica for James Hetfield.
my fav song in the album. This has Metallica written all over it. Fuck. So. GOOD.
Harmonies and double bass
5:36. Looks like papa from Ghost
I'm surprised this has stayed up a whole 35 min. That's longer than it took for them to DMCA themselves when they were on Twitch
I love that all album, Metallica still alive!!
One badass song
Please won't you set me freeeeeee! 5:00
Reminds me if Spit out the Bone a bit.
Meravigliaa !
I think the video is not taking over the song, the song itself is great and catchy that's why it feels like the video seems like on top of the song. ❤
I love how people act surprised when Metallica put out good shit. They never lost it, you just haven't been paying attention
Ya this album actually reminds me alot of the master of puppets album.
Sounds alot like Lords of Summer and Spit out the Bone and I absolutely love that.
The Best song so far
Video makes me think of here comes revenge
Goosebumps allover man!
I love Metallica but I really feel like Kirk held the album back. I noticed Lars is getting pretty much no hate this time around
Oh yeah definitely. Kirk is a great personality and a true part of metallica, but I would get a third guitatist in the band for the fast shreddy stuff and a third guitar harmonic.
James has the best harmonies
DO INAMORATA!!
some part of this song feels like spit out the bone.
definitely the best on the album
I know this is late but it looks like the low budget moments of the naruto verses pain fight
Far the best song on the album.....like Spit out on the last album...
I had to come back just because you said goosebumps which is weird for you
that anime music videos are so weird to look at xD
That's why you should never watch the music video. Either do the audio or the lyric video.
The album should've been 6 minutes long. Just piece all the harmony riffs together and call it a day. And what's up with Kirk's solo's always repeating the same lick 4 times and then moving on to something else where he continues to do the same with that part?😂
Sweet harmony section with 5 minutes of boring ass filler.
What is this weird Dr Seuss aesthetic going on in this video
The best.
