- Greed is now one of the best F2P heroes in Watcher of Realms. A super rare AoE Hybrid Role Mage and now our Day 28 Log-In Reward. He is an incredible and versatile hero in this game. Whether it be big damage, special debuffs, crowd control, or burning (?) - this big boy has it all. In this video, I take a deep dive into everything Greed and give a complete and total guide. Greed literally took me from 1-14 to 1-18. Dude is no joke. Luckily since I’m still a beginner-mid account, he helps me tremendously as he’s genuinely my only AOE “DPS” mage! I’m glad Moonton decided to give us him after all.

@@fastidious_gg Good to know! As for know, the only good Nightmare hero’s I have are Wrath, Valeriya, and Volka. Been saving on summons so maybe when something good rolls around I’ll summon.

Great run! Showcasing this at A1 makes it clear how accessible 18 is now that everyone has him. Add in a few champs in alright gear and you can farm the gear needed for 19 and beyond. Keep up the great work and thanks for the shout out, I appreciate you!

Been rolling with Greed as my only AoE magic damage dealer for two months. He's phenomenal and helped my 1-19 completion. Great guide sir!

How? Don't you have enough drops by 2 months to get more champs? I'm at like month 3 and ftp with about 7 legendarys and 30 epics
@@Dreadnotus "Enough drops"? I'm not sure what you're asking. In the end, it's all random chance. I have nearly all epics. Deimos is one of the few exceptions. Probably 20 epics all at a5. 2 Legendary Lords (Twinfiend and Laya). Something like 15-20 legos in total. Tons of marksmen and fighters. But few mages, and none of them are AoE. Just got a Pelagios on the banner and he allowed me to push through 1-20.

i pulled greed with abomination a month back. got my awaken 3 greed today & boy oh boy! feels like i just pulled him again. a3 is crazy! awesome video fasti.. this helped me to power my greed up moor.

my greed got me to GR1-15 so far which isn't much but will let me finish the story missions within a few days, I do think he's pretty cool
also I think his fire comes from the ult, I see fire marks when he casts it on the floor. i do wish they described some abilities better to really say what they give/do. like Vargus for example his abilites only state he gets stealth when deployed once he's promotion 5, yet when first trying him he was gaining stealth some other way since I had him promotion 3.

And sure that might be where the burning comes from but it should say it in his kit
When I got greed, I got lucky and pulled mommy morrigan, immediately built both, gr1 jumped from 18 to 20(moved some gears around), no question hidden leggo

Pulled him as my second epic ever, had to decide who to invest in, Nazeem or him LOL. But really he carried me early game, he was my first 60 and i have never regretted it. Currently on Day 42 and he's still my only aoe mage.

Was happy to get him for the debuffs hoping it would help for 1-20 but pulled AJax Sunday so I’ll probably never use him lol funny how that works

I believe the 15% aoe dmg from his ult (the fire - red circle) is the "burning" aspect they are referring to.
I do not think so. You can see that he is dealing damage over time and there is the burning debuff logo. I think they literally just left a line out of his tooltips or something.
@FastidiousYT watch the end of your greed gr18 solo. It only applied burning when the red circle was on the ground. The fire from that causes burning.

Greed is so good. That dude help me to end my nightmare about GR1. Without Vierna and other aoe mage, it is so hard to progress in GR1. Greed help me to progress from 1-13 to 1-18 easily. So good.

on a more serious note looks like he applies fire with his ulty, so i guess his ulty is actually a fire attack which is not specified
I didn't knew there are 2 types of debuffs for M dmg, the one greed applies and the other vulnerability, IE Valkyra ( M Dmg taken 15% more),

that 15% aoe dmge per sec on purgatory relates to the burning hes described to..
Good luck! And as for the “burn” sure maybe but then they should have said it. Also, 8 seconds is notable because that would be the longest burn in the game

You will see everytime the ground Ult dot is active the burning is as well and disappears as soon as the ground effect does. I think its just there to show the dot is in effect.
Fair enough but they should change the tool tip then
@@fastidious_gg Yeah, not even certain why they need to indicate that when lots of other characters have dot ground effects (like cerberus). I understand the confusion.
I think the "burning" is the or portion on the ULT where "deal 15% AOE damage PER Second, lasting for 7 seconds". Thats the only spot that I can think of that would make sense.

@@fastidious_gg I dont disagree, but I mean, after the whole debacle of tooltips with Dolores, its probably just another slip on their end that you are calling attention to. Keep an eye on it, might change out of the blue. :)

I believe the burning comes from the ult, they wrote it as "or deals 15% aoe DMG per sec lasting for 6 sec.
Fair enough but they should call it burning and explicitly states the debuff. Also would be very note worth because skilled up it is 8 seconds which would be the longest burning in the game

Exactly. If a debuff is gonna applied it should be explicity and specifically stated
More Greed! Need that DMG dealer, struggling so hard to get GR1-19 done (atm Greed, Eona, Cerb, Dolo, Hollow, Aeon, Laurel, autumn (?)
Btw, it so wonky, but instead of saying burn, they put the description of burn on the ult, so ofc the Purgatory Burns (?!) 15% AOE DMG per sec. Burning (Wrath): Deals 20% M. DMG per sec. They should probably change it to AOE Burns all for 8 sec.

My greed is A5. I just don't know who to replace him with in my GR1 team. I think I have his skills maxed as well

I've tried to beat 18 now for like 3 hours, my stats are better then yours on my greed and i'm tossing in the full faction bonus and extra dps on the top of the map, he'll do like 20 mil but i always fail, i don't get it, the only difference is mine isn't A1, is that really that big a deal?
a1 is a solid deal. Idk tho, is your greed max skills? is he max promotion? what does your pantheon look like?

One question, should i sacrifice my Vortex for Abom? Am still within beginner-mid plays, just got him yesterday, and am f2p, debating whether it's worth or not
i use him with marri on the left side on the other side i have khamut who i think needs a cinematic and laseer maul

@@fastidious_gg ikr on the right side with khamut i have hollow and dolores on other side i have midan i dont need the vortex range there
i think whirlwind is the best gear set so can put other stats on him i think speed and atk main prioritys then trying to get crit stats rate and dmg its hard to get good rolls i look for at least one of the 3 pieces with speed other two are atk bonus he way different to marri where as marri is all out control same as AI and Shamir and a few others greed is that and damage
one thing im wondering the max base stats on hero details is that excluding promotion stats on him cause promotion stats are insane
I’m currently able to do g1-19, using zelus, eona and maul as my dps heroes. However, would greed replace any of those to speed up the fight itself?
his damage at a5 will be a bit better than Zelus probably. He will help boost eona as well with his magic res red
I really got this guy thinking he was gonna help me smack Gr1-19 for the first time. It was not the case.
Turns out my Eona A3 does way more damage than greed, even in same gear, idk, guess I'm a noober. Either way, I got it down thanks to Khamet and Eona, little sad at greed not doing much for me there.
Feel free to see in the video. Greed is not a dps in late game. He is a debuffer and crowd control unit. Up to 1-18 he is great for dps
@@fastidious_gg Yeah, for sure, I just figured it out a bit late! But it's fine, i needed some champs to level up for the corridor event! And I'm sure he'll be useful for me in the future :)
1-19 and 1-20 he is actually a beast for spamming them debuffs

Choices, choices. I have 5 soulstones but i am torn between Greed and Desmios. On Gr1 I am on stage 18 with twinfiend, maul (A5), delores (A5) , razaak (a1), Wrath (a5), Komodo (a5), hollow, and lightlocke (a5). I was going to focus on abomination for my next legandary. I have aeon that i need build up as well. What do you recommend?
deimos for sure. invaluable at the point you are at for GB
Is abomination better than kineza? I guess I will build greed as a debuffer.
Abom and Kineza are different. But yea I think overall he is more playable

I feel like im hard stuck for 2 weeks just becuse i don't have a delores, in GR-1 19 i have laseer and greed/eona but i just can't do enough damage my laseer have 14k attack 100cr and greed and Eona have 11k attack and 100 crite rate feel like i need Delores boost to deal enough damage.
In general, you need dolores for everything late game but for 1-19 without Khamet or Vierna you 1000% need her.
@@fastidious_gg pretty much what I feared feels lame to be so hard stuck atm I have no reason to run GR-1 any more and in GR-3 im stuck to becuse I can't deal enough damage in the middle the sides Maul and Nix deals whit it's just the center and whit delores the damage boost would make it a piece of cake, so silly to block your progression by a Epic hero or legendery for that matter but it feels so much worse being stuck becuse I don't have a epic support hero.
I agree. when you say sides tho it makes it sounds like you are on 3-18? You definitely do not need dolores for that

Spellcasters echo is alright but not a great choice on him
10% rage is 30 rage for him. That is less than 2 seconds of rage regen auto alone saved. Doesn't feel worth it
@@fastidious_gg How do you feel about running Book of Distortion on him?
I mentioned book of distortion in the artifacts sections. In general, with the super high attack speed you will run him, I think nightmare samsara still outperforms it
@@fastidious_gg ya I have been doing some testing, it does about 500,000-750,000 more dmage. At least with the build I have.
Quite interesting! Curious about your attack speed tbh. Because that surprises me. If he is fast enough Samsara should totally outrank Spellcaster
Does not work on current GR1-18 as enemy types are completely different and you have two ballista's hammering the wall.
Edit: it does work, you just need Greed to be in decent gear, I’ve just done it by making my Greed 50k BP, Fasti’s advice to improve Greed was very helpful.
only difference with the ballista's is u need more healing or need shields. completely as simple as that
@@fastidious_gg I’ve got King Harz and Vortext, and using Midan as well. Midan is 6 star, Vortex and King Harz are both 5 star. My Greed is 6 star, and almost matches your Greed in stats. Not sure what I’m doing wrong Fasti 😫

@@fastidious_gg just done a solo Greed run and his damage output was between 4-8k. His total attack stat is 6.5k with 21k health, attack interval is 1.9sec but his crit rate is only 10.5% I’ll try to improve Greed a lot more and see how it goes. I appreciate your time Fasti :) thanks.
@@fastidious_gg you absolute legend. Just cleared the stage, I swapped some gear from my Deimos onto Greed, got Greed to 50k BP and just absolutely smashed it. Thank you so much Fasti :)

He is the Day 28 log in reward. So if you get him at Day 28. If your account was older than 28 days after they made the change then they sent you him in the mail.
