I really didn't care for the Lion King remake at all, but the one good thing that came from it was this album which was such a masterpiece...and Black is King, which was also a visually stunning masterpiece, so two things.
That's exactly how I feel. The best thing that came out of it was Beyoncé curating the soundrack and her highliting and bringing together all these amazing talents from the Motherland. Black is King was the icing on the cake. My Power choreo, Already, Find Your Way Back, Water....

This album was a smidge short of pure perfection. Why? It has one missing element ...Sauti Sol.
And I'm not even the biggest Sauti fan. But as an Afrikan, l just noted that missing element.
But other than that, as an Afrikan myself... this project was soo authentic. As authentic as you could go commercially without losing the Afrikan base.
She never pick any east African artists, we have expected artists like vanessa mdee, sauti sol ,maybe diamond platnumz..we have a lot artists in east Africa
I hope she does a great hit with them or an album
