I am no longer joining the crowd in spending most of my money on junk and ending up broke. Investing is the only way to go for financial success and freedom.
I just spent 4k on a laser welder, because at this point the cleaning function on it is going to cost less than the amount of cutting disks, blasting medium and sandpaper I'm using every year.
With audio books being free on TH-cam. You can even cut cost on buying books. I agree reading is important. But if you only have $1000. Free audio are the perfect price
Problem is those books on money aren't on you tube because they keep inforcing copy right Seems reasonable book about making money won't just give it away.
Cashflow is great, but it grows a lot slower than assets that are invested to appreciate in value. Wouldn't it make more sense to invest in appreciating assets to get the nest egg, then transfer those investments into cash flow producing assets upon retirement?
Real estate aside, I wish he would talk more about total return. If you're investing in stocks and you're focused on cashflow then you're pretty much focused on dividends but you're skipping popular growth companies that don't pay dividends and you're paying taxes (dividends are taxed even if you reinvest them) unnecessarily.
not really. some places that appreciate a ton have negative equity like in LA or Seattle. if you have cash flow you can invest and be able to cover that. I see both working for me. if you have 10k coming in from cashflow you can the invest more riskeir and not worry about economic downturns because youll still be cash flowing
Hi Jaspreet, I love your show. I send links to every young person I know. I’m jealous because I’m now 64 years old and I only have two more years to load my investments before retirement. Do you have any short term high return ideas for me? Keep up the good work. We need you 😊❤
All your videos are amazing, i wish there was a similar channel but here in Costa Rica because i dont know how yo properly aply what i learn here in my country.
I agree. Trading stocks is no different from gambling. The stock market is unpredictable. We just do not know which stocks, ETFs, etc. are going to make us wealthy and which ones are going to keep us broke.
I came across $1000 and was gonna buy a watch, but you told me not to, so I guess I will pay off debt, buy groceries, pay my bills and try to survive instead...
I’m like more than half way through Creature from Jeykell island and it’s an interesting book but not sure of it’s practically. Yes I get our system is messed up but how will this make me better with using money?
What are some good online investment companies you deal with that are trustworthy? I have a 401 through my company, and they use John hancock. That company also has other investment options. I thought about looking into it more. Dave Ramsey talks about good growth mutual funds . That's what I'd look for.
He is not IN debt $1.2b, he has debt of $1.2b. And a net worth of $100mm. $100mm isn’t that much compared to musk or bezos, but let’s not pretend like he’s broke with $100mm and an unlimited line of credit
Instead of think of yourself as just yourself well think of yourself more as a business you yourself as a business and then when you go to do something whether financial time or just a simple task ask yourself is this going to help my business or is this good for my business? You have to look at yourself as a business treat yourself as a business
Great advice! Hey that guy that wants to start a tuck driving company send him my way. I help start trucking company from permits, corps/Llc, regulations, and insurance. Can also connect with dispatch/freight brokers.
How about those like me who cant lower their living or spending on food and dont have a care? Cant get a better paying jon due to health issues either so no way to increase my income.
Don’t read rich dad poor dad. Its a fun book but its useless. Read the richest man in babylon in stead. Read the income factory. Read money psychology.
I agree. Acquire assets (something that puts money in your pocket like stocks, real estate, etc.) over expenses (things that take money out of your pocket) like credit card debt, car loans, etc. Boom! You no longer have to read Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
@@sageredditt6634 I did read it. it seems inspiring but its crap compared to so many other work. now go read The Richest Man In Babylon, then go read Think and Grow Rich. and then come back for more recommendations.
You don't need any money to buy books. You can find them free if you're dedicated. In the age of the internet, education is free. There are plenty of people with too much money, yet not enough time. When they come to the end of their lives, they will realize they failed. Money needs to flow in and out. It's to be a tool, not to be a goal. If you need to make more than $100K a year, you aren't truly living and you are most likely spiritually deprived. The great equalizer at the end doesn't care how much money you have. I want to be out in the garden with gratitude for my free time and beauty surrounding me. I want to create freely, absorb joyously, divide intently and consolidate completely. I don't want to be thinking about stocks and how to earn more money.
@@divine_beam Not if you do the work, which is the way it should be. You can grow a vast garden with tiny seeds or cuttings and patience. A handful of seeds can yield acres of produce. It will produce more and more, year after year.

Jekyll Island reads like a non-fiction horror novel ... its frightening what they got away with :/
I would also add "When Money Dies" to that list ...

I’ve found several audio books on money and investing through our library.

Hi Jaspreet, do you have any tips for people over 60 years old? I thank you in advance
