If you love mountains you should definitely go to Sikkim, Kashmir or Munnar. Uttrakhand is also fantastic but since you are from Himachal, I would recommend you places other than Himachal and Uttrakhand which have almost the same scenic view but are beautiful in their own way.

U both need to take time for a holiday for just 2 of u !! Although good to do things with family n others it's important u both take more holidays together. Prioritise!!! Go for a 5 day trip closeby but do it quickly n more often. In my first 3 years of marriage we did so many just us trips !! Soo amazing . After kids u keep craving for this us time n then it becomes so hard.
