Media mod is best You Can Charge Gopro while recording then why you need to access battery?
Media Mod always Better than Mic adapter in Go Pro 9 , 10 Series . You were fit screw in left side . But Correct direction is right side of go pro. Media Mod is light weight and Very helpful for Long distance vlogging . And you can use any *TRS* Mic in Media mod *TRRS* mic will not work. Only one drawback is You have to remove over all Go Pro if you need change the Battery. I am using multiple go pro with mic adaptor & Media mod so I sharing My experience (don't Mind

Ulanzi is the case for gopro hero 9 only.
GoPro Mic Adapter has two ports.
Type C and 3.5mm for shotgun mic.
Gopro mic adapter fits in to bottom part of ulanzi case.

Hey man. Ideally u can go for any gopro. From GoPro 9 to above. Depending upon budget. Of course GoPro 12 is superb as its the latest one. Im also using 12 now. But for motovlogging and travel vlogging Hero 9 is also very good. After that you would use mic adapter or media mode. That depends upon ease. I have seen Media Mod attached to halmets. Its good anyways. And you would use lavalier mic anyway for motovlogging to have clearer audio.
So my recommendation is GoPro Hero 12 (costing 42-45K I guess) with Media Mod (costing 7-8K). If you dont have any budget issues.
Or go for anything from Hero 9, 10 to 11. If tou want anything from 25K-35K
One more benefit with media mod is now with GoPro12 is, that now you can record from both sides of GoPro while using Media Mod.

Thats great. I also tried both things.
Media Mode: only looks good. Mic is 7/10. The main issue is Battery replacement. That is the biggest hussle there.
Mic adapter and External mic: Better Audio. And so easy to manage the battery area. You don’t need to dispel the cover everytime to replace the battery.
My STRONG recommendation: Mic adapter and Ulanzi case. Without second thought.
And my latest vlogs are from the adapter and case only. Not media mod. Cuz. Battery lasts for only 35 min of recording. I need to replace the batteries frequently.

Hi quick question, does GoPro 9 gets warm just in some time after we start to use.. or it's defect and should replace it.. please advise
In summers yes. It does get warm in initial stage as well. But if its frequent. You need to get it changed / checked.
Winters/ normal temp it should get heat up after some regular continuous usage like 10-14 min continue footage. Not just after switching this ON.

I think you don't know about media mode's mic settings...
Bcz media mode mic work krta hai setting pe ki kis direction ko aap record Krna chahte ho. Like front rear or both directions
I know that buddy. It can be used as directional mic. Both ways. But the main issue is battery replacement while Vlogging. Cuz battery is small.
Media mode as such is great. But the hassle involved in battery replacement is like too much. Thats it.

Yes you can shotgun mic or BOYA (economical one). It comes with two wires. One for mobile and another for gopro. And you can use it with media mode as well.
But I wont suggest media mod cuz of utility issues go for mic adapter ulanzi case and mic.

With Boya, You get both wires (one compatible with phone and another compatible with Gopro)
With Rode. You get 01 wire which is compatible with Gopro. Not the phone.

One major feature was not covered:
Many have reported water damage in case of Ulanzi setup as its door has a hole for type c cable from where water enters during rain. So you wont be able to use it when it starts raining.
I mean even if you'll not use while it starts raining while riding, by the time you stop, take off the camera, it will still carry a risk to damage camera.
This is a big bonus with media mod.
2nd thing is you may change direction of screw. Use it opposite to door.
But yes, changing battery would be easier in case of Ulanzi setup comparatively.

I have media mod with my gopro 10, now i want to sell out and purchase adopter, can i connect mic and power bank both during using camera with adopter as can with media mod ?
There is only one scenario when you can “CHARGE and SHOOT at the same time”. That is Directly to GoPro. By opening its side door.
But yes, you can charge the gopro with your mic adapter via type C port. And as you will start shooting, charging would stop.

@@CarCareHelp If you are a motovlogger. You can keep Media mod. But being a vlogger, I personally like mic adapter more. Cuz of its ease of Battery replacement. In case of media mod you need to dissemble everything.
I wish media mod cud perform like mic adapter with built in mic. Both are GoPro products.
Moreover, now I don’t use anything. Standalone GoPro is also good. Voice recording from back n front both works well.
With mic, its unidirectional always.

Its all about battery replacement issues and hassle. Rest both are same with external mic.
If you can handle that battery change with that much efforts. Go for media mod.
Else go for adapter.

There must be two wires. Use the one which has two black lines. TRS cable.
It must be mentioned there. “For camera”.

I've tried but when I go to settings then Mods then audio settings then i change the audio settings in 5 different mods Standard standard+ power mic power mic plus and liner,,, 2 record got my voice but i forgot which audio settings,, then i tried all 5 but it's not working

See both options are good. But seeing the ease of battery replacement. I recommend Mic Adapter. You anyway need external mic for better audio.

After using Media mod, GoPro will not be waterproof. And after 6months of experience with GoPro. I can say that there is no Need to use any external mic. You can watch my latest vlogs where Im not using any mic.
Cuz GoPro has two mics. Front & Back.
And when we use any external mic. It become unidirectional. So it will give you better sound only when the mic is in the direction of your face. Not the other side.
USE GOPRO ONLY.
No mic is required. Believe me.

No we can not charge while recording.
Thats possible only in case of gopro as a stock gopro, wout any accessory. And for that you need to remove the door.
You can buy Ulanzi door with charging hole into that. Dont use any mic. Then you can charge GoPro hero 9, while recording.

@@MOTOMENTOR you can go for Rode Smart Lavalier Plus Dynamic Microphone. O mr if you want reasonably cheap but great option. Go for Boya Lavalier mic. But you will have to use it with Gopro adapter if you use Gopro.

You need a mic adapter for that. (GoPro mic adapter will only work. Cost in INR: 4000/-)
GoPro gets connected Mic Adapter.
And Mic adapter gets connected to Boya mic.

Two scenarios:
1- wanna use external mic: You need mic adapter 100%. No alternate of that.
2- without external mic: You can go for media mod. But then changing battery would be a hassle. If you are a frequent video shooter. Just like I told this in this video.
