    Project Description:
    ********************
    I have been using the MFRC522 RFID module for quite a long time. Using the Arduino and MFRC522 RFID module I have designed so many amazing projects including the RFID and GSM-based students attendance alert messages to parents…
    RFID attendance system with parents SMS alert and Firebase Database…
    RFID Car parking gate opening system…
    Bike anti-theft system and so on…
    In today’s episode, you will learn how to use the MFRC522 RFID module with the Raspberry pi 3 b+ and write very simple python scripts to find the identity numbers of different RFID tags. In this tutorial, you will also learn how to assign names to these RFID tags. This is a beginner’s level project which only explains the interfacing and basic python programming for reading the RFID tags. While in my next video, I will explain how to control anything using the Raspberry Pi and MFRC522 RFID module.

      You are right. This is one of beginners level mistake, when I was learning how to work on TH-cam.

    Can this scan the NFC of a mobile phone? Also can you read the NFC card number and also the MAC address of the reader that scanned it?

      @@ElectroniClinic I'll be sure to check that out, thanks. I've got my Oled (SH1106) and Rfc reader hooked up but am struggling with the code to interface them. I'm using the Luma library. I hope your video can help!

    Great tutorial sir! how does rfid store the data?

    • @ThomasTrutt
      @ThomasTrutt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it doesn't. You will ahve to capture the scanned ID number and store it yourself. IE if you want to allow specific cards to - unlock a door, you would have to extend this code. You would store the 'approved' id somewhere (DB or simple text file) on a sucseful scan you would compared the captured ID to the approved list and then perform the action. you would also need to loop the write function in the background inorder to allow live scans.
