KOOLEX was originally a stringband group from Pari Village established in 1977 and recorded their first album in 1979 with NBC Studio, then recorded again in 1990 with CHM Supersound Studio.
The band has regrouped recently with new members and have recorded again in 2018 this time under Senirewa Production, with the album titled "New Pari".
Special acknowledgement to the families of the original band members of Koolex in particular the most song writer and composer of Tarzinos & Koolex, Late Rev Vagi Walker Aire, Late Rev Uda Kwalahu, Late Allan Penrose, Late Matagu Charlie Gaudi and the surviving elders of the band.
Special thanks to the former MKA Chairman Late Ret Dk Mataio Nou Taboro for the song "Mato" originally sung by The EIE BAND of Pari Village.
Finally, a very special thanks to Mr Mark Makali Tau for his tireless effort in producing and recording this album.
