I started belly dancing a few months ago and since then, I left all the crunches and other abs workouts which are not good for the feminine body. Belly dancing respect our morphology and organs at any age, plus it is really fun. It is also an art and a skill to learn. It really works the core muscles and pelvic floor. It gives a beautiful silhouette and grace. And also it motivates us to beautify ourselves, hair, makeup, clothes. In short, it enhances our femininity 😊💃💕

@@Lisaglamour I have done burlesque and belly dance. I tough both were the most feminine but that was until I found out about Balinese dance and after that I got to travel through Asia for the past 15 years and again my mind was blown about the different dances around the world, also Brazil lambada, another fantastically seductive and feminine dance. Women have so many tools it is a petty they barely use them.

I started belly dancing in my late 20's. I have been out of shape most of my life up until my late 20's. Changed a lot of habits and mindset. I had been trying to loose weight so long that it wasn't until I started loving myself, and with that love I started wearing clothes I liked (I thought this might be the body I have forever, I'm just going to stop caring) and with the love I treated myself better.

    • @GaiaNeh1013
      @GaiaNeh1013 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@flan8627 I was horrible when I began!
So, most of my early 20's I spent sitting. Sitting in class, sitting in my car to go home and sit more. I was a very stationary person. Didn't move a lot. But I alwayloved belly dancing.
A couple of years ago I met my grandmother for the first time. I was about 26 at this point and the heaviest I had ever been. One night I was trying to tell her about myself and my interests. I told her I love belly dancing and she told me about my cousins wife, this tall, slim, beautiful woman and how she can do these amazing dances. I was jealous!
When I returned to the states I thought "wow, when was the last time I even danced?" I turned on some dancing exercise videos but kept losing interest. I continued to watch performances though. And then one day I found what is called Tribal Infused belly dancing. It INSPIRED me. The kind I found had these dark elements and hypnotic moves. I wanted to BE hypnotic!
Tribal Infused is the best because you can take any forms of dancing you already love and mix it up. Making the dance uniquely YOURS. You really find your style.
It took me months to get a little good and I found dancers I watch and learn from. I started listening to belly dancing music even when I'm not dancing. I envision myself dancing a lot. I found artists I particularly like. There's one called ASADI. It's like Arabic Trance. A lot of Indian music is fun to dance to as well. But let me tell you, you can bally dance to ANY music that appeals to you. During some rough times I listened to a lot of heavy metal and I kid you not, I rocked out belly style!
It's been 4 years, and I have made other changes too, like walking more, eating more vegan/vegetarian meals (haven't stopped eating meat completely), more fruits as snacks. I was a large and now I am between small and extra small. It is one of the best abs workout!!! The was my hips have formed and the lines that come down my sides towards my pubic area... 😍🥰
I never thought I'd be THIS fit!
All it took was finding the right dance style. Like, I HAVE to do THIS! And it is such a spiritual, feminine experience!
(Sorry for the longest explanation 😅)

Something unconventional that I think helps maintain our bodies; lessening unnecessary medicines. I don’t exactly have a proof of this, but I often don’t take medicine for headaches, upset stomach, nausea, monthly, because I’d rather give my body time to handle it and save that for when I super need it. I guess my proof would be my amazing immune system and pain tolerance. However, I’m not saying don’t exercise reason with this, because I think medicines can also lower fevers and (if needed) kill infection.

I can only speak for my community but in the black community a lot of times they say “leave nothing on your plate” as well as in our community you eat enough for two people which isn’t the best thing because with “soul food” it’s a lot of fat, grease and if you don’t eat it usually the critic is (I’m sure everyone may experience this) most of the time your family may say smart remarks. “You need more meat on your bones” and or when you do eat more they say “you’ve gotta lose weight “ so it’s always difficult to know what is right and what is wrong. But for me I have to eat some kind of meat in my diet and that’s why I am trying now in my 20’s to eat better. I want my active side back because I was more energized at work and my hobbies and now I don’t do that much like I used to. So, I was always curious what your routine was because you’re stunning and I want that body back that I used to have.

I don't swing too much in my weight. I tend to maintain my weight well, but I do weigh a bit too much now. I gained quite a bit (13 kg) when I became 17 as I didn't cycle to school anymore (Netherlands) and didn't have school gym anymore. Since then my weight stayed the same (I'm 21 now) I have a HUGE sweet tooth. Chocolate is honestly my biggest struggle. I lost about 6 kg earlier this year and felt and looked so good. I made a lot of new habits. I excersized 3x a week (dance, bootcamp and zoomba) and learned new eating habits together with easy intermitted fasting (10 hour eating window). This helped a lot with stopping late night snacking. Then in the summer I let go a bit too much with eating out on vacation and after the summer I moved to a new country for an internship. I didn't have my group lessons anymore and because of the whole situation I didn't pay that much attention to my food. Through all of this I gained the weight back. Now I'm slowly working to losing I again.... wish me luck!

Fasting and Walking helps me. Abstaining from sweets like cookies, donuts and cakes. Drinking water and eating healthy. Eating only when I am having hunger pains. If I don't do this I can pick up a lot of weight easily.

Lisa thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into making these videos for us ladies, you really have helped us out in our leveling up journey so thank you! on that note, if you don’t mind me making a few video suggestions because I recently started my journey by watching your videos:
-what does it mean when a guy says that “I thought you were hard to get but after I realized it, you were too easy” and how do we feminine women change that?
    - topic of after marriage how one can be feminine and if women should work or be a stay at home wife… which is more feminine and works out best?
    - thoughts on men chasing masculine women and why that is and how feminine women can get men to chase us?
    - what is the difference between a feminine women getting a man and a masculine women getting a man?
    - I love your hand movements so I hope you can make a video on how you naturally move your hands elegantly
    - how we can be feminine in high school or in the workplace and still earn respect and be perceived as a high value women
    - how to deal with toxicity in a feminine way
    - how to identify if a man wants you for the chase or if he is of high caliber and wants something long term
    - when I’m a long term relationship how do we keep making it exciting and not boring
    - how to seem warm and nurturing to strangers especially if you have a masculine and cold demeanour
I know this is a lot so I’m sorry for that. Of course these are just a few suggestions I would love to see but I understand that you’re hardworking and might not have the time for this so it’s totally okay if you don’t make them. I still love what you preach so thank you:heart:

I do 10,000 steps a day, I do squats and also Yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️ for about 30-40 minutes a day. I also use a core train Hula Hoop for 30 minutes a day. Weekends I just do yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️. I tend to set a schedule for myself to stay fit on the weekdays.
I eat pretty healthy. I was trained at a young age to not eat sugar stuff like candies, cakes and stuff. Don’t drink sugary drinks. I’m a water 💦 and tea ☕️ person.
I’m in my 30s. I’m still proud of my body. I kept my hourglass figure while gaining some muscle mass from my workouts 🏋️‍♀️ .
You have such a great figure. I have about the same figure. I’m an hourglass and I find it fitting dresses 👗 much nicely. Thank you for sharing 😊.

Drinking a lot of water is a must..I am also trying to pack healthy snacks like nuts with me for one the go. To keep my blood sugar stable. I avoid artificial ingredients. Most of the time I avoid sugar. I indulge in chocolate though

If you can't be satisfied with small portions no matter what. Like, you have tried every diet, I found a way to fix this.
It's drastic but it works. Water fast for at least 4 days, meaning NO food for 4 days, just water. Look it up it's actually safe and healthy if you do it right.
Then, for your first meal that ends the fast, have a small portion. The fast kind of resets your body's memory of what is a big enough meal, and that first meal sets a new standard in your mind for what is enough, programming your body to feel full with less. Make sure your first meal is lean protein though, anything else can cause bloating at first.
I'm a man but I was recommend this by woman I know and this worked with my sister too. Also this fast will also cause you to lose weight and look leaner, so that's a plus.

Very important! Some foods change your hormones! Do some research on that! Life changing!. Your hormones is what keep you feminine (for us men that want to keep our testorone we can't eat soy because of this reason.) Also thank you for covering this topic. I want to add something going for the women viewing this because of your man asking you to lose some. For us men, the reason why we ask you to watch your weight in a relationship, is that we are scared to lose attraction for you as a women. It's NOT that we don't love you, think you are ugly, no. Absolutely not!
    Hope it adds value.

Lisa, could you please add what is your height? And what is your approach towards any particular weight? For instance I'm 175 cm and I tend to weight around 65-67 kg. I've got quite toned body, so nobody wants to believe that this actually is my weight, but it is embarrassing for me when someone tries to lift me...I would like to weight around 60-62kg, as I see it as more feminine, but it's so hard to loose that whatever makes this weight in my case 😂 what is your approach and any other lady here?🙏

Fitness model here! Weight will change with hormones & changes every decade you age. Im in my 40s, but I track, eat clean avoid processed foods, sugar, eat 55% of my calories in protein from meat. I do a 7 day fast every 4 months.
If you have digestive issues, that is a food intolerance. Protein keeps you lean. Brown rice is less nutrious than white haha this is why Asians eat white.
Too much carbs makes you bloated. What you're describing is mostly genetics. It all changes closer to 40.

It’s not just about being young, it’s important to note women who have had children, it’s even HARDER to loose weight. Your hormones (even if you don’t have children) change as you age but having kids puts your body into total WHACK! Lol it’s so HARD for many women to loose weight after children. You could be active and eating the same foods as you were before children and still not loose weight.
