this is one of the funnest runners I've seen in a while, this whole run was just such a good time. the ant sing-a-long really sold it for me

The sing along was the best part. Well done.

I've been following the King's Quest speedrunning community ever since those speedrun docs that one guy makes came out. I think his channel name had something to do with an eye. Anyways I'm very excited to watch this

OneShortEye is who you're looking for! His video on KQ3 speedrunning got me interested in the whole thing.

Thanks for this - i love Sierra games and King's Quest - nice to see classic adventure games featured in GDQ!

    King's quest in AGDQ? NICE!

I loved watching this run. Kings Quest 5 was the only point and click adventure I actually beat on my own as a kid. Also Cedric is the voice of a generation and I would protec that nerd bird with all my soul!

French Floppy sounds like a difficulty like European Extreme

I never considered that this COULD be speed-run, but I am glad that it has been, and by somebody who appreciates the game for what it is. I do like that there is as much unskippable dialog in this as there is, though I presume from a speedrunning standpoint it would get extremely tiresome. I find this game's voice acting entertaining and fun to imitate in a way that "professional"s can rarely manage. It helps that every character, even the narrator and perhaps the world itself are so surreally rude to Graham when his only crime is dressing like a dork. Not at all like the Xbox Graham who goes too far out of his way to act like a "quirky" character from Frozen or something.

    It’s super effective against Dink

I've only played the NES version when I was kid and it was hard as hell. If it weren't for my grand I'd never beaten it.

"MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN THE GAME, cant beat the game without it!" x6. It's funny because its true.. if you didn't have the strat guide for this game you were 100% going to fail lol. I still loved it. Also davidtki is amazing, i had so much fun watching this and you can tell both of these guys love it. great job
Also, 23:26 - "(they're slippery)" was the funniest thing I heard all event.

"Let's have a little dance while Cedric's gone," and then the 'dance'... that made me burst out laughing, (and "no cat's out of the bag this time" made me groan like the rest of the appropriate jokes) were some of a number of high points in the pun! Er, run.

Glad OneShortEye got a shout out by David at the end there. I've always loved graphic adventure games but had zero idea there was a speedrunning community for it until I saw his content! He's done a lot of work getting the word out with his videos.

A real funny easter egg for the floppy version, use the cloak on the broken sled. SAVE THE GAME FIRST though

I liked Cedric, but I played the original US floppy version.
Without his horrible voice, he’s rather enjoyable

In the custard shop a crown icon shows up...its the only time in the game. Does anyone know why? I've wondered since the 90s.

Dude, we had a team of four trying to beat this game, my dad, my stepbrother my sister and myself. We spent weeks trying to figure it out and gave up at the yeti. It might be fun for the speed-running community, but for the casual community, this game only fizzles and dies.
