Thanks Paul. We have found the “Ariel people” considering I’m a member of AOMCC, so intrigued to hear how you think removing the damage and seized plugs from its past, and turning up new ones is “fucking up a perfectly good flywheel”. Real intrigued.
@@TotalLossCycles The plugs are tight, almost always they are rounded by a bihex socket, The usual 'fix' is to hammer on an 11mm socket and undo it from there. If you're going to use heat use oxy-acetylene not a paint stripper. You need to get it hot enough to make it expand. Then let it cool
So it’s not fucked. Got it. If you watched the heat gun was used at the start while I was out of gas, but had the torch in it later to remove them. Also they were already far too rounded for a smaller socket to grip on it, something we’ve sorted in the replacements we turned up. So thanks for your input.
