No doubt you are doing great and salute for this . But here there is some massage which is vital and I am victim of this . Many people misunderstood it and I also . When your water was exact but you add caco3. And you never said if after airation ph of water is 8 then caco3 adding necessary or not . There is few comments about this but you not clear it sir. So requesting you , if normal water ph after airation is 8 then it's necessary to add caco3 or not to add. Pls clear this , hope so many people will definitely get help. Thank you so much.

Great Video. Very well explained in a simple and practical manner. Just one query... do we also need KMNO4 (Potassium Permangnate) to be added/used for water preparation? If not then when is KMNO4 to be used. Kindly explain.
I suggest you first use your normal water( without biofloc) that is available to rear fish for 4 months in small quantity. See their growth with all the scientific checks ( ariation,ph, nitro...). This will give you an idea of the quality of water that is available. Biofloc should be planned in the second crop.

Mere paas 700 Lt ka tank ready hai usi me karna chahta hu is experiment ko. Sir agar aap batayenge ki us 700 Lt tank me mujhe kon sa pump aur use kaise setup kare to bahut meherbani hogi.

What if I filter the water and then can j use probiotic to treat ammonia, is it possible.
Also all fish don't eat flock so it gets settled at the bottom as sludge.
Can you share a video link to this if you have made a video earlier or how to just treat the ammonia in tank with minimal fish waste.
Also if I rotate the water in the tank, so if I keep it on 24 X 7 will it stress the fish, since I'm planning to have a centrifugal force to move the tank sludge to the tank center 😅.
Is this thing possible.

i have gone through maximum necessary parts of the biofloc system. I'm sure there is much more that i should learn before putting my money in it.
Kindly let me know one thing, that if there is a limitation of breeds in this biofloc system or we can grow whatever breed we want to?
and
Once the water is filled upto 10,000 liters or so, at what time the need will arise to change the water or how will a farmer know the correct time to change the water or if we do not change the water will it be harmful to the fish?
Most of the Indian sweet water fishes like Rohu, Catla, Mrigal, common carp, mangur, pangasius, tilapia and shrimp and more species can be grown in BioFloc system. Hardy fishes like pangasius, tilapia, mangur you start farming now without much worry but IMC culture needs understanding the every details of BioFloc and water management because imc are fragile.
Water change is required about 10-15% every 10-15 days in case of mangur, pangasius and tilapia but for Rohu you need to change 15-20% every week. The stocking density of imc should also be less like around upto 500kg per 10000 litre.

Sir, in one video you have mentioned that required ph level of biofloc water must be in between 6 to 8 but in this video ph level rises to 9.6 which is dangerous. Also you have use salt for fresh water fishes which is dangerous to good bacterias/probiotics. Please explain.

Thank you for demonstration. Could you please explain why we need to maintain temperature above 24 degree celsius for floc formation? Why floc will not be developed at about 5-10 degree celsius? I asked this because how do you do commercial farming in winter without investing too much for maintaining 25 degree celsius?
Because bacteria work well in warm temperatures. And fish also needs 25-36 degree range. If your live in very cold region then don't do farming from December to February. Start farming from end of March.

In your experiment you have observed pH 9.6 . Was it suitable?
Sanjay Singh I added calcium carbonate for demonstration purpose only. I did not do water preparation for fish stocking. Ideal pH is 6.5 to 8.5
