Sounds like my relationship ! I do everything, he gets what he wants & disappears. Lies all the time, has no respect for me, even tho i do do everything. When i confront him. He snaps on me before dishing out the silent treatment to me. He never reads my texts, does not care, even tho it will benefit him as i did my homework about his cancer. I do not trust him & probably never should have...hes either is or has narcassistic tendencies which have destroyed me Now makes me feel guilty for even thinking about leaving because of the cancer This is no way to live & ive wasted enough precious time on him
Sounds like he's definitely using you. The guilt trip because of his cancer and.his other treatment. Just know that he's not going to get any better or change. If youre really tired of being a doormat start making a plan to get out. Save some money, look at apartments, take yourself out to lunch or drinks. Going out will put you in touch with your independence. Don'tp tell him about it. Encourage him to get counseling or go to a support group for the cancer. Maybe talk to him about what he's.planning to do towards the end. Does he have family or friends to help him? Its not your responsibility to be his free nurse. Your not hired help and it doesn't sound like your in love. He's.just making you feel obligated and he's taking advantage. You neef to have your own life. Don't squander it away for someone else, not even for your family. They wouldn't do it for you. you have just.one life. Make it the best that you can. By the way, I loved this video. I'm still pining away about a guy that I liked 25 years ago. The way Jordan described a user, is exactly what he was doing to me. There's that part of me that just wanted him to want me the same way. I want the past to have been different. 😢 Good.luck!
I had a guy like this... very superficial and immature. Always put his needs first, put me up on a pedestal but didn't value my input. Also constantly blamed others anytime I tried to adress an issue he would deflect.. this guy was a workaholic heavy smoker and used alk to numb any sensitivity.. I believe he had a personality disorder. Any guilt I had about leaving him left me when I realised I was trauma bonded and addicted to a narcissistic loser.. I live alone now with a couple cats.. it's not lonely.. life is so great without him. I can't believe I wasted so much time trying to make it work, thinking he would change.
@finestcomplex Yikes. I think I met someone like that. He charmed and flirted with me but never asked me out or connected emotionally. I played coy with him once, but I felt like a fool-idiot. Flirty is not my thing, Im more sincere & serious. I figured he had someone else that held the priority spot, although I secretly wanted it to be me. The uncertainty and inconsistency was frustrating and hurtful. I thought he liked playin games, so I played my own game on him and I disappeared forever. I thought we was playin???
@@christineribone9351 I was on the exact same situation not long ago. I’d push him away but he always came back for more, like his goal was to keep me hooked. Mind you, our main communication method was text and sometimes calls, until one day I had to act so annoying, he hasn’t texted me since.
@@christineribone9351Sounds like you still care. He used you but a healthy man doesn't use a woman despite his interest or lack there of. Try not to personalize it.
@Unicorn111-g3m That's right I cared for him. He didn't exactly use me. He knew I just graduated from an academy and he wanted me to join his agency. Every day he would ask me for an entire month. He was persistent. But that's all he talked about, nothing personal. At the same time he would lock eyes and look deeply into my eyes. he would speak softly into my ear witb a chalky sexy voice. It was mesmerizing. Alec Baldwin sounded that way sometimes. But he never asked me out, not even for coffee. I figured he had a girlfriend or two. He was spending his weekends with someone I supposed. I just happened to be at the same gym all the time. Anyway I never said yes to joining. How could I work around him? I don't know how women do that kind of thing. A friend said he probably wanted a "work wife". Now THAT Would be using me!
Thank you 🙏🙏💯
This kind of talk should be part of school curriculum. It will let girls know where a woman is in her mans life.😢

This is not Jordan
So what. Its still great information

Can a man be this way with one woman, and at the same time, be totally different with another woman?
Yes. He could show different personalities to different people.
