What I mean is you want to anticipate the general race direction before every challenge giving you an advantage over your opponent. There's only a set amount of arena's so as the session advances and each arena shrinks you should know fairly early on what final arena it will be before the final showdown. Many of these arena's have set finish lines and are not random. The mountain being the most obvious example as it only has one final race pin. A general rule is to check your map often, if you're on the edge of the arena (the pink circle) the pin will send you to the opposite side/centre unless it's one with set race pins. (Mountain/Baja) Also, If you're ever outside of an arena when challenged you should always follow the straight pink line back in as that's the only direction the finish line can be. As with most things it comes down to practice and map knowledge but it's definitely not random as many think. Hopefully that explains some of what I'm trying to say 😅 It's not easy to begin with but when you figure out how the arena's work it becomes far easier! 🙂
A couple of examples from this round would be the level 7 Bronco Vs the Nissan GT-R. I know I can't beat that car in a straight H2H so I lure it down the highway knowing that once I reach a certain point in this shrunk arena the finish line will be behind us. Also with the level 9 Fiesta Vs the Mercedes GT, that race can only go back up the highway as we're both outside of the next arena, as can be seen by the straight pink line in the mini-map pointing towards the final arena.
GG
Thank you 😃
can you like give some context
