Very bright. If you have a clear dome, probably should paint the top surface black or silver to protect the plastics and wiring from light deterioration.
There are in actuality there are 3 types of mounting options 1) there is the permanent mount, 2) then there is a magnetic mount (I'm thinking there are 4-50 lb. magnets), & 3) Lastly there is the suction mount (with 2 bar sized suction cups) {to prevent marring of the paint}.
Everyone who puts mirrors always forgets about the open space in the rear. They could have put a flasher in middle to compensate for the lack of mirror flashback
is it possable to purchace just the color filters from you? i got an older code 3 force 4 xl mini lightbar that i want to change over to amber filters instead of the red ones it has now its a clear dome
In my opinion they'd stay on well for any speed a fire truck or ambulance would go. Or a Crown Vic. A Dodge Charger, not so much. Or Chevy PPV, or Ford police persuit SUV, no. Some are rated 150-165 + mph. Screw them down.
Code 3 doesn't make a direct replacement LED for this Mini-bar. It was awhile ago, but we do recall seeing someone who swapped in H1 LEDs... the output didn't seem as impressive though as it does with halogen bulbs.
+znovosad555 To us, the brightness seems to be equal. One thing we've noticed here and there is that the solid color dome seems to fill out the light throw a bit more.

Bring back the rotator mini light bars!!!!
Can't beat a halogen rotator when it comes to extreme flashing.

rebuilt one of these a few years ago. cleaned the lens, new bulbs, and put some 11,000 rpm motors on it.
Beautiful mini lightbar

I expected the "420" light to be green.
Thank you Sirennet for trying
These are superior to the LED rubbish. I wish these would come back. Best lights ever.
I can't see your police lamp shop so i dont know where i can buy your stuff
I personally think a colored dome would be better if you plan on using it for a single color.
heh, its brighter than the responder! some halogen lights will always be around!
stuart my lightbar has the screw in the middle at the bottom, do u have filters with that option? i seen a lightbar just like it on your website
I would like to see ONE in a Amber lens and ONE with a Clear lens with Amber Filters, Flashing ...
If some make it to our collection, we'll try to put them side by side. Sadly Code 3 has stopped making these Mini-bars.

Call code 3 directly, they are very helpful in parts.
How much is shipping for this lightbar to CT?
“Knock knock” who’s there? How’d you know I was inside this 420 lightbar!?!?
Awsome
Where can I get one from
Do the magnets hold the bar down good or not
The magnets have a nice strong grab. Keep in mind the material they are grabbing onto though- as it might not be to thick in some cases.
Ok thanks
Very well, even at significant speeds

You can't however the bulbs on this mini bar burnout pretty quick.
just wish i knew how to replace the bulbs
Since these aren't made anymore, does anyone know if the rotators from the Code 3 MX 7000 can be used to replace the originals?
CAROLINA PATRIOT code3 and sirennet both still support the 420. Got a blue dome from them a few months ago, brand new from Code3.
Can this unit be refitted with LED's?
Code 3 doesn't make a direct replacement LED for this Mini-bar. It was awhile ago, but we do recall seeing someone who swapped in H1 LEDs... the output didn't seem as impressive though as it does with halogen bulbs.
Do you think the clear dome with filters is brighter than a colored dome?

It looks like a Britax Aerolite from GB :)
One probably copied the other.

We don't unfortunately. Code 3 has discontinued them.
