Question john: now that u watched the film, would u like to watch people react to it? I certainly miss somethings that i pick up on reactions, or even in some cases perspectives that i find, and i think "o right, have not thought that way"
After watching the review: 1. There r many philosophical discussions b/w different chatacters, i wont discuss here. 2. An example of brilliant dialogue: "she is so beautiful that if someone saw her, that person becomes..." "A poet?," "No....a lover" 3. There r philosophical/religious things about buddhism, i m not an expert in it, but it is enriched by hundreds if not thousand years of writings by great philosophers. I have not read those, however there r utube videos about dalai lama talking about how he developed as a person because after his exile in india, he was relieved of his ritualistic duties and found seclusion and time for study of old indian texts. Tibetian buddhism is philosophically distinct from the original buddhism. (There r many forms of buddhism btw) 4. My knowledge is only historical, a book "A history of ancient and medieval india" by upinder singh,
Hello, john, i recommended it, saying i rewatched the film recently 23 years after watching it on telly, because jaby koay channel reacted to it and found the dialogue and the way story being told to be good. Now i will watch the rest of the review and comment if anything there is to comment.
Answering ur confusion why asoka did not kill his brother: U know john in capitalism there is priority list of the persons with claims to the assets, so lets say secured creditors come first, preferential next etc. Well asoka's mother was oridinary shareholders in wives priority list. Asoka would not have enough social capital in carrying out the deed.
SRK movies == Me Likey
hadnt liked this movie one bit. Ashoka was such an inspiration in Indian History and this movie made a total caricature and cartoon of Ashoka.
Pretty visually stunning. Plus Kareena Kapoor. Hubba hubba.
Hey just to get the comments started 😂 get back to you about what I thought about the review 🤔🙏😉
