I was thinking that as well. I am just hoping he sings at the house and not just perform more than sing lol his vocals are so beautiful and he needs to show case that and this might do just that..
Ola want to run up and down the stage like a while horse and sweat up his self. Steups. All these nice simple song to get in people sole and make them love your music
@@rondy4441 he said in his interview that the x factor ppl listened to his songs and give him direction which btw they did love. The only reason he did nit get thru was because of the voting. Before many of us from home was able to simply text or go on some form of media to vote but they changed how we were suppose to vote. My opinion is that they changed it because they realized that the caribbean would vote for him way more than the others and they probably thought it unfair so that might be why they changed how we were able to vote because everybody knows the whole of T&T would have been voting and he would have gotten through. It's unfair to say he was jumping up and down and not singing his best songs. Not many have gone on there with a whole "unknown" genre of music, wrote their own songs and perform it at such a high level... The judges loved him but the voting public around the UK could have cared less which is why he went home... I've seen forums where ppl were livid that Ola was chosen over another in the house by Ida and wished him gone and what not. He did me proud as a fellow trini putting our music out there like that. Maybe next year Patrice or Kes can try their hand in it.
Olatunji Been one of the elite Artiste and talents ever not just SOCA music alone. That is why we done have Him as the Main Event Performer for Hollywood Carnival 2k16. He will be back, mark my words.
Nate De Caries You have to know the true narrative. SOCA birthed Afro Beat. FACTS. It is the Caribbean who is the catalyst for Afro Beat becoming a more global prominent art form. Namely DJ's like International Stephen and Private Ryan and many others who have worked with these two.
Yup yall also need to give credit to the Producer / Part Writer and developer of this riddim: Mical Teja / System 32......i believe that he has palyed an integral part in the upbringing and development in the inclusion of Afro beats and Afro Soca into T&T and by extension Soca Music, look him up and do yall research, he is the writer and producer behind hits for Olatunji such as: OLTL, Midnight Cruise & Bodyline as well as this Want riddim and this latest hit Kava and many more.
Jennell York thank you for the advice but I was simply stating I like the song, no need to educate me and tell me to do my research, and that I need to give credit I’m sure the producer knows he’s doing an amazing job in pushing his music and songs.
@@randychristian2250 Soca definitely put light on Afrobeats, but it did not birth it. It has also influenced some AB artists, but again, didn't birth it.
I knew it when I heard his song this past carnival. It was the beginning of his transition. That song was experimental. I actually didnt like it for the carnival market. I figured it was more geared for an international market. This one strikes a middle ground. All the best Ola...🙌🙌🙌
This track is slamming. Ola is the boss for 2019! Soca on new heights Caribbean blazing in glory! This gon tear up the radio. Can't wait to blast this one on a long drive. Hit replay 5 times and still want more.
X factor will go mad with this

Who told you Soca birthed Afrobeats? The truth is Soca is sounding more like Nigerian Afrobeats as of late.
