I love that you guys are old school. Even though there is a 20-year age difference between me and thee, you remember the romance of going to Blockbuster or Hollywood Video on Fridays to get movies for the weekend. Man, I miss those days.

@coolduder Well, a little while ago, they said about 200 border bookstores are closing. Two of them in my home state will stay open. Thanks for warning me about Blockbuster. That will be a while before it closes.

If you want a comic shop just go a few blocks up and over. There is a comic shop there, unless it moved by now. I'm pretty sure its called Legends and its a pretty well sized comic shop.
@DWINC Condition of every generation, man. I was in college in the 80s, and everyone from my generation was listening to the Beatles and talking about the 60s they watched in Oliver Stone films as if they were there as well.

They closed down the FYE at the mall I go to, and replaced it with a bootleg children's clothing store (that I know no one's going into)! Such a bummer that a lot of malls don't have DVD stores. Best Buy is good, but only for new movies.

Man,i hate these new malls,everything mall is the damn same; same marble floor,same crappy muzak,same benches,same stupid potted plants...and expensive stores, trying so hard to give the impession of the mall being SOO high class. All it ever does is make the malls come off as being pretenious as hell;and kill the malls off because it doesn't draw any different clientele than it did before,the same people still come in,they just spend much less than before because they can't afford anything.
