Worked as a student assistant on the defensive side of the ball at KSU. KSU is doing something special and the new B12 better watch out. Klieman is a class act, great guy.
Coach Klieman’s comment on the smaller Midwest schools and student engagement is true. My experience is only Midwest and Florida schools. The student section at The Bill, Boone Pickens, or Jack Trice is full of small town kids that played or cheered in high school. In each of those stadiums students are more engaged and interested in the game than the student sections at the Swamp and the Doak.
Great interview. This is the type of coaching I would love to have my kid be mentored by. Coach Klieman and his staff are all outstanding men and women who are motivated to make the athletes better than the day they showed up. We are so fortunate to have them.

I was not expecting to see Josh interviewing Klieman at all. Actually makes me want to come back to watch this show a bit now 😅 The normal same SEC Big 10 info gets boring. Klieman is a ridiculously awesome coach! Kept all of Kstates values and even added some of his own that the school will likely adopt for a he future. Loved this interview!
Next to ask coach why his team seemed so soft again Iowa State in the snow game. Seemed super swoft and that is trickle down. Iowa State was tough Kstate was swoft.
Josh ventured 70 miles into Kansas? Did he see their tree? You really want to get freaked out, head west on I-70 from "The Little Apple" to the Colorado border.
Way to stereotype Kansas. Yes, we have a lot of fields and prairies, but we also have more than five million acres of forests and woodlands. You might want to get off of the Interstate to enjoy the beauty of Kansas. I do agree, though, once you get out into the high plains of western Kansas the number of trees dwindles significantly. 😀

You do get the Christmas wonderland feeling once you get out west and see the wind turbines glowing at night. Going round and round and round and round, it’s friggin nauseating! 😂
