so true what you say about RWS and the double image. I find that especially when I'm reading for friends and family. I'll say something like "traditionally, the image on this card is..."
Hi Candy, awesome video. I finally had to get the Botanica Tarot, I had forgotten how beautiful it was until you showed it. Great choices on all the rest! ❤ much love to you beautiful…
Really enjoyed your takes on this tag, such a joy. The Botanical Tarot keeps teasing me, and I don't know it's going to be a plant deck that I actually get on with, but dang it's so beautiful. I really am wanting to inject some more uninhibited joy into my days, and exploring my tarot stacks without expectation may just be what I need. Thanks for offering up your time for this video. So grateful. xx
I started my journey with the Rider Waite deck years ago but didnt use it for a long time. I went back to it a few months ago and I am now really working with the Tarot and really enjoying the journey. Like you I always have those images in my head when I work with any other deck.
Oh my, this is the first time I've seen the Botanica tarot, and you got me absolutely convinced that I need it! I love flowers and gardening with all my heart, how had this deck gone so under my radar?
I always find your content so comforting, I'd love to go to Coffee House Candy 🥰 Great choices. I loved the Rainbow Moon tarot when you did the daily advent divination, it was the perfect deck and so charming, I've just added it to my ever growing list 😆
Hey Candy, I love your picks. 😍 I want to continue my star tarot studies this year, and my little February art challenge is based on the kawaii tarot 🎨😍
@@CandySoulAndSoil it's just a little art challenge. Maybe you have heard of the inktober? I decided last October to draw a card from a deck (green witch oracle in October) and paint it into my sketchbook with watercolors, just to come back into a painting /art routine, at least a few minutes a day. I kept doing it since then. This February I draw characters from the kawaii. Lots of fun. But I can imagine using my cards for even more art/creative challenges/studies.
@@angelaschredl9245 angels yes I love Inktober. I have a whole playlist on mine if you were interested. I love that you use your cards that’s so awesome. You could share it on your channel if you wanted to (nudge nudge) I’d love to see 🥰❤️🥰❤️
There isn't one system of Marseille I would say. Most key sources have drastically different meanings and methods. I recommend some sort of "window shopping" through the different key figures. Marteau, Jodorowsky, Ben-Dov, Elias, Unger and other such tarotists all have different meanings, reading methods and outright opposing views on the Tarot. If a Marseille deck gives specific meanings, they should cite their sources as there are no unanimous meanings or methods for Marseille decks or historical non-esoteric decks in general.
@@CandySoulAndSoil I mainly looked at summaries and such on youtube and picked the ones that grabbed me, then read the full books. Some of them like Jodorowsky's Way of Tarot are huge!
I absolutely agree with this. I remember first reading some of Jodorowsky's perspective on the Marseille and feeling that it was so different from anything I had learned of the system previously. Interestingly, that perspective is one I resonate with the most.
@@Umurhan999 this is so interesting…. I just assumed it was like rider Waite and one system to learn. Ok I’m on it now. Thank you for the advice that’s so useful and appreciated 🥰❤️
Well said! Watching the rest I’m trying to figure out why I never picked up the Star tarot. Is there anything different about that deck, like elemental correspondences switched? ❤
I decided the end of last year that 2023 would be the year I studied TdM…….. after I set that goal a friend of mine started a Lenormand study group so I committed to that as well. I also got in a few new decks in December so I totally understand where you are in terms of diving in to a number of different projects….. there’s just so many decks and systems and subjects that interest that I want to explore! Nice deck choices, btw! I so love seeing the Star Tarot. I absolutely love that deck and feel it doesn’t get proper recognition for the beauty of the cards and the depth of the guidebook.
OH YAY I was so hoping you'd do this one and I just LOVED it. Thank you Candy!
Yay thanks Lisa. ❤️

It really is ❤️
Such a lovely VR, Candy. 🙂💜
The Mystical Healing Deck caught my eye last year. It's one I might add to my library this year.
