As one who's been watching animé for over 25 years, and seen AMVs since they were mastered on VHS, this AMV stands out as one of the timeless classics to me, as it never gets old, it masterfully tells a beautiful story (of its own), and it never fails to inspire people who see it to watch the whole series it depicts scenes from. Another AMV like this is Many Lemons' take on One Piece, "Sail On"
