they are no shit for your information Japanese models are well known for there quality and good performance when it comes to motor vehicles and other products . all are authentic .
all those cars and not a single fresh idea, the same interpretation over and over...I think we as Americans are too scared to wander off the beatin path. if you look a Japanese video you see all kinds of crazy things some work, some don't. but Americans wont take that chance, its like internet forum mentality that makes us afraid to do anything different. The other day A friend of mine asked, "whats the car scene like in L.A?" I don't think there is a local car scene anymore the internet has made a global community, but its kind of like shrinking the gene pool, yes we get very specialized evolutions but we loose the wide progressive ideas that help this art move forward.
***** im not saying these interpretations are bad, simply from the prospective of art there is not a lot being extrapolated direction(s) there is some interesting colors being used, but they still seem to fall in to "clean car" archetype. and with the import "JDM" community being so condensed acceptance of broad new ideas is not tolerated. IMHO this is art, so it should be adjudicated as such. SoCal lowrider auto art is a example of free ideas being accepted no matter how out of line they are. it has reached amazing vertexs of imagination. anyways if you must know I been though a lot of cars but currently this is whats in the stable. 07- CT9A 014-CZ4A and a 1988 Toyota pick up with 367k miles 2004 Honda accord
Ryan Richey's bugeye at 4:34 is definitely out of the ordinary which is why I love it. Also, if you want to see another crazy build check out PWRFAP on Instagram. His car makes me love that fact that I have a Bugeye wrx even more.
I agree with you 100% My car is nothing crazy, but im trying to change that as the money comes lol. but i find theres alot of cookie cutter builds out there. you know go low, have some fitment maybe a bit of camber and you're considered cool, and with it lol. Japan deff has some crazy builds. and there stuff most times is one off/custom. Very pricey i bet.
The black RX7 with a 5.7L Corvette V8 was still my favorite. :)
