      @@filmsbyvcGurl! I am so proud of you for working towards your passion. I also had to fight through to make my point come across but I am sure my scenario wasn't as bad as yours. One advice, do something and earn your own damn money and move out. Parents don't often agree for moving out but if u offer them that you're going to follow the same path as they say, they are going to agree. Once you're out of it, you have the freedom to research, learn, grow and finally make the decision. Financial independence is the one answer of all kind of independence. Once u start making your own money, there's no stopping. Good luck!

    I think, fashion influencers like her who has been there in the West, Russia, China for so long, and now in India, it might make people more accepting of so called revealing clothes, and women, and young girls from small towns and remote villages might be seeing a clothing revolution coming for them, where it may be accepted by their family if their girls start wearing jeans and tops, because even that is strict no no in many remote families. Or it could even worsen. I hope it only makes Indian society more accepting of allowing women to wear what they want.

    I think her parents didn't know how to raise her. They might be too strict and tight on her life in result she wanted herself to be too free spirited, physically and mentally that she wouldn't even want to wear clothes. Fashion is something else but she is more into open/revealing clothes. There was a saying I read on net once, "Holding a bird too tight may result in it flying away but giving love may make it stay." otherwise, the religion she belong to is not that strict. She just needed proper guidance which her parents couldn't give. Like being a fashion designer was not a bad choice but her father referred it to be 'darzi'. She could've made a good career with it, gaining respect wearing and making respectable dresses. Her parents I would say needed to be educated.

People just don't have the right knowledge. When you wanna know about Islam read Quran not Muslims and you'll know what Islam actually is. (Read quran with tafseer. Tafseer is the details and explanation of what is written in Quran).

    Enjoyed listening to her PoVs, her experiences and life lessons in general. The only part I disagree with is when she said she is not materialistic. Wanting to fly first class, wanting to drive a range rover and wanting to have two rooms for just clothes and shoes is being materialistic. Unless, she doesn't know the meaning of the word. In which case, she needs to either own that aspect too like she has so many other traits of herself or re-evaluate her materialistic desires :-)

    • @Cos7mos
      @Cos7mos ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you're giving those materials from your own money to your own self it's not called materialistic. It's a word used for people who demand such things from others, which she never wants. If you're self made make your own money you can provide a lifestyle to you and your family then you're a legend and an example of successful person.
