This was so good. I’ve ALWAYS loved Tamar. Even when she was the old Tamar. But seeing her transcend into who she is now; it’s just beautiful. The prayers we’ve prayed for her are showering all over her. So happy to see her here and present! 💜💜

This is the best Tamar interview. You can tell Jason and her have a good chemistry, and she felt comfortable talking about most topics. She’s in such a better place, and I’m happy for her
WHAT?????? The fact that she said she had to pay for ad space on the reality show she created let’s you know everything you need to know about how that network did not value them. You think the Kardashians would ever???? That’s the most surprising takeaway from the whole interview.

Great interview, you ask all the questions we “nosey people” wanted to hear. I’m glad she answered with grace, being vulnerable. At the end I don’t think she realized she spilled some hot tea!!! What I heard was “I was toxic and vulnerable, and I needed someone. He was attracted to my need for him. The show brought the toxicity to the forefront and it made us deal with it. Now that I’m in the process of healing it wouldn’t be the same relationship.” #deep

I LOVE how, Tamar seemed to be in a better place and space. They only aired her mess, instead of the situation being as it was. They stressed her out, they made her choose. I hate she had to choose death, in order to live again. I wish her Peace, Healing, Happiness, & Understanding!

People dont understand the difference between holding someone accountable vs holding someone to their past. People are allowed to be a different person than they were before. Whether you like them or not. And If cameras were filming YOU everyday 24/7, you'd be the villain too.

Can we name a positive black reality tv show? 🤔 Tia and Tamera, Run’s house, LaLa’s full court life, Fantasia for real, Flex and Shanice, Monica still standing, AND DESPITE THE ALLEGATIONS say what you want but TI and tiny family hustle as well as Tiny and Toya were all positive black shows. There’s more to reality tv besides love and hip hop, bad girls club, and real housewives. 🙄 Half of those positive shows aren’t even as popular BECAUSE they were so positive. What people are tuning in to 🤷🏾♀️ plays a part as well.

Love this interview. Honestly, feels more genuine than others that she has done. I really hope she has healed or continuing to heal. Everything about her feels more genuine in this interview.
Tamar harbors no resentment toward David, its clear. However, we saw what we saw as far as his personality goes, outside of that show and his behaviour during Tamars suicide situation. I think she is careful what she's saying because of the restraining order he took out against her. I feel she can't just say what she wants to.

Restraining orders are not a gag order if shes able to paint him in a good light... Then she can tell the truth that man did her all the way the dirty. I think she just hasnt figured out how to admit she was abused and not be a victim. She no longer wants to be a victim. But there is power in being a survivor.

I actually used to have a love/hate feeling with both of them because they both seemed so unnecessarily combative but this interview really helps to see it was more the production than their true personality. I agree wholeheartedly with Tamar in regards to people desperately wanting to be famous and signing up for things at all cost. I also think it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that a person’s good and bad traits that are filmed can be used anyway a media company wants. I think you have to take all that into account before you sign up instead of just hoping for the best.

I think this has got to be one of the best interviews I’ve seen with Tamar. I also know that with reality tv the goal is to get the story or creat a story! This isn’t hear say and this is me providing inside information. Drama sells and if there is some drama and the cast brings it up or slips up an investigation is done. If there are rumors the job is to find the source and that source may now a surprise guest on the show. The curve ball creates a real reaction hints reality tv.
