The best way to get from point A to point B. Not fun on rain grooves and high winds, but I have put 1500 miles on this bike and love it. Own a concours and love both, and have different rides on both. Cafe all the way.

Hi TAYM, I've been watching all your old videos on Wendy the W800. As a previous owner of one who sold his to buy a Speed Twin, you've got me thinking about buying another one..........the thing is, can I have both? Cheers.

Well Steven, the thing is, I ve been thinking the same. 😂😂😂 I’ve been looking at older roadster versions, maybe even a 650 😁

The original wasn’t a rip off of the BSA, I believe it was licensed at the time.

Excellent, a genuine retro. I can only hope that the new BSA put as much effort and quality into the Gold Star 😊

@@TAYM let’s hope! I just spent today riding a buddy’s 2015 W800 and it was a refreshing change from my heavy, screened 1200. A naked 50HP roadster was just the ticket in the 29 degree heat.

The 650 is better....it was only bored out because of emission regs...wish I hadn't sold mine :-(

I didn’t know that, very interesting. Like the classic 500, I love it.

@@TAYM to meet US immission regs they choked it and as a result had to bore it out to 800 to maintain the same torque and bhp figures.
