It started for her on Idols in 2016 in the Netherlands but it didn't take her very far then she started doing covers on youtube and when she did Pink's What about us in 2017 Pink herself reacted to it on Glamour and even said: "that's better then I'll ever sound". So you should definitely react to it as well. After that she got to perform What about us on many radio stations and tv shows in the Netherlands making her more popular around the country. She also continued doing more covers like Because of you by Kelly Clarkson, Chandelier by Sia, Imagine by John Lennon, Easy by Adele, Rise up by Andra Day and many more you need to check out. Back to her own career evantually she was invited to a show called the Best singers of the respective year in 2018 introducing new artists but also excisting artists to sing each others songs or songs an other artist likes. There she made her own cover of a Dutch song called "Duurt te lang" which was released as well. That set off her solo career. Pink really gave her an opening to create her own career as an recording and performing artist. Then in 2019 she created original songs for her first album My own world. Songs like Skyward and Better know. She also created a few songs in Dutch like Hoe het danst en 17 miljoen mensen. Later in 2019 Davina got to perform as the opening act for Pink's Trauma tour in a concert in the Hague performing her own songs Skyward and Better know. Really good songs by the way. From there more original songs for her first album followed like Beat me, My own world (title song of the album), Purpose, Hollow, Given all the reasons why, Liar, Lucky, The last thing I need and Torn apart. Then some stand alone songs like Nobody's perfect, Hold on and Sweet water. All these songs were released in 2020 and 2021. Her music became popular and popular till the point that she got to perform in concert halls and her music became famous in Belgium. She also got to perform on Eurovision in 2021 as the interval act with the song Sweet water. In 2022 and 2023 she started making new songs for her second album (which is still not fully released). Songs like Hyper, No angle, I love me more, Heartbeat, Dating the Devil, 17, I said no sir and stand alone songs like Wake up (for the people in Oekraïne) and January without you. She also gave tours around the Netherlands and Belgium. And now she's been trying to get her music on the radio stations in Germany. She's slowly trying to make her mark there having given numerous concerts, performances on tv shows and she got to perform in Berlin and Lissabon in Portugal as the opening act for Maroon 5. She also hopes one day to get her music on the radio in the United States but that's a challenge because there's lots of competition and people wanting to break through there with their music.
