heh... ive been their fan for a couple years now and i know how hard its to see them live or at least have a hint of what their concerts are like. i remembered all my ''brothers and sisters'' round the world feeling like i felt for so long ;)
@The7r00p3R I had one for a couple of years. :) I did classical singing for a while, but I haven't had time for that for over 2 years. I hope one day I will be allowed to do a show side by side with Kalmah ;) It's been a small dream of mine ;) Thank you for the kinds words ^^
The chorus would actually be pretty awesome with mezzo-soprano backing. But I don't think Kalmah would ever do that kind of music. They do have a lot of melody, but their melodic riffs tend to be short and focused on the beginning or end of a song and in that way, makes their style somewhat heavy, compared to other melodeath bands. But that's what makes them unique. Let's hope they never change. :-)
@The7r00p3R The thing is that they are very "manly men" you see :) I know they really enjoyed the fact that the band was a masculine environment, and I am not sure if they would enjoy having a fidgety, talkative element that I, personally, am. That's why my hope was even a single gig - although of course there would have to be a lot of preparation and that is hard to administer as we live some 2000 km away.
@corialote Hah, well suggest them. Maybe they're gonna go on an European tour, and you'll have the chance to sing with them. :D And no problem at all, I really meant all of the words.
well... this is a true shame on me... i guess this is just human weaknesses that make us unable to be perfect - its hard to be considered one of the biggest kalmah fans.. it carries so much responsibility :/ i WILL get better and RETURN as a true Swamplady - unbeatable Kalmahologist!
it was me singing along :P I do that very often at home. I have my own adds to most of Kalmah songs :)
Such a great band... hope to see them quickly in France.
