Take the lid off your Clipper and turn it on. If you see smoke coming out then your motor has gone bad. Same happened to my rebels. Most of the time is cause by spraying too much cool blade or oil has build up around the wires
I had the same problem w my stylecrafts, the problem is that one of the plates that connect the battery to the motherboard breaks, its a usual problem w that model, either u use warranty or try to bend straight the broken plate, no idea why that happens, either cause of the high power of the vector motor or when u charge them the charging plug pushes the battery back somehow so that it breaks, but either way most likely its the plate connecting battery and the motherboard
