English isn't my first language and im not sure if i understand Canva's content licensing correctly. If i make activity books and want to sell them in physical book and pdf form can i use pro items on them too or just the free elements? Can somebody help me out?
so long as you use more than two images/ elements (free or pro) on a design you can use it commercially. Also if using templates you need to change colors and text fonts to make it your own. You can not just take an image or template and use it as is, you have to make it unique to you by adding more to it. You can always use google translate to make sure you understand exactly.

I love all these ideas, I love your page, I’ve subscribed, but I have to ask. Are all of these pages supposed to be going into the same book? The matching of the colors and then writing prompts don’t seem to be for at the same level…so you have activities for a three year old and then activities for an 8 year old.
Also - would you recommend doing some color pages and some black and white? What’s the printing cost difference?
I'm glad you're gaining value. And the example I gave us a general example and must be modified depending on the target audience and age. I just want to showcase three different approaches to a kid's activity book.
As per the printing cost, yes it can run pretty high on books that are colorful. I would recommend back and white for books that showcase math or writing practice activities (that's what comes to mind at the top of my head)

You can create an answer key, it's up to you. It would be helpful to your customers so that they have the answers. It also depends on the type of book.

I have been trying to find that type of curser for a long time and it isn't an option in my computer, so did you purchase it somewhere?
Hello there! I'm glad this video sparked a new idea for you :) Usually, activity books are 100 pages, but it's up to you. As for the cursor, it's from my screen-casting software. The cursor always comes on when I'm sharing my screen.

does amazon kdp accept our book if we use canva elements for making it, i mean canva will give you a commercial license but kdp doesn't accept copyrighted content whether you change its color or modify them in any way, i have a little confusion about this?
So far in my experience using Canva in my publishing journey and helping others is that as long as you use Canva elements and create new versions or variations of them using your own spin things you're fine. I always incorporate more than 2 elements together, change their positioning, colors, and more, making it a completely new design. My advice, use Canva elements to create a new design that's authentic. I never use Canva templates and elements as they are. I always make sure that when I'm done designing it is a complete brand-new design. I just use their templates for inspiration and to help me learn how to craft a well design whether it's for a book cover, social media content, and beyond. It just takes practice.

You should be able to lower the music a little bit next you do it. If it’s in Canva. When you over lay the music you can lower the music.

Hi Elena, I wouldnt use elements on their own. Many people have shared that their KDP account was deactivated because they did not follow Canva guidelines. I suggest to always combine elements to be safe.

Nope I keep trying it just brings up covers like to use for a template. It doesn't bring up any work sheets. I click on boxes and its only a cover nothing inside like a worksheet so very confusing.

You do have access to the elements but will need to pay for pro elements if you use them throughout your designs 👍

You can if you want to. If there will be a cutting/scissors activity absolutely so that they can cut the pages without cutting into an activity page.

@@learnwithmaritza Yes I did , also this text came with it ....Where possible, we give pages numbers with examples. To make sure your entire book meets our guidelines, please review your entire manuscript file and fix all issues.
To update book details, go to your KDP Bookshelf. If you update your manuscript or cover, you'll have to upload the revised file to KDP. We'll review your book again to ensure it meets our requirements.
Are there texts, sentences, etc outside the cut off area? Do they expand over the red dotted lines?

Yay! Thank you for supporting the channel. As for printing it, I have not tried that before, but you can save it as a PDF file and print it on a printer. If you want to self-publish, you can upload the files on Amazon KDP (free) and request an author copy. Let me know if that was helpful :)
Where i can publish my workbook?
You can publish it on Amazon by creating an account with Amazon KDP. That's where you would upload your file. Or you can sell your work as a printable file on an Etsy store or open your own shop by using Stan.
How to publish this?
I thought this video was great, but I noticed that you didn’t mention bleed or not bleed in order for Amazon to publish it

Canva has free and paid options. You can use the free version.
how to upload the finish activity book
You must save the cover as PDF Print & a separate file for the interior pages of the book as PDF file also.

How much you charge depends. Checkout the other books on the same niche and price yours at a competitive price. You can make it more affordable to get those initial sales and reviews. A 100-page activity book can vary from $5.99 to $15.99. So, it depends. Do some research on Amazon and see what other books are going for :) I hope this was helpful
how much do you sell for 10 pages workbook?
I would recommend to create a minimum of 80-100 pages. You can sell an activity book from $6-15. It just depends on how much other activity books are being sold for. You want to be competitive, especially when you are starting out.
I followed exactly and under “design” matching activities there were templates but nothing that resembled your demo! (?). Btw the music is too much I had to watch on mute ☹️
That does happen where you may try to search for a specific template. The reason it comes up for me so quickly is because I've been using them for a few years now. You have to try different variations of words. And I'm sorry about the music. As a content creator, I'm constantly learning and testing new things, and also getting out of comfort zone in many ways. Yes, many people make money selling books. However, I am not one to tell you to produce these books if you're just seeking to make a profit. It takes a lot of work and strategic planning to become a profitable self-publishing author. I would advise to build a brand. If you're thinking of building a brand around educational or children's books, then go for it.

Hello there! You can sell it on Amazon KDP and save it as a PDF Print file
How to save it as a complete file?all the pages in one file?
You save all the puzzles from the generator as a PDF file. Then you upload that PDF file onto Canva. When you upload it onto Canva and you open the document, all the pages will be there. You can then use that file to create a title page, copyright page, and more.
Size of book cover?
The size of the book cover depends on your book's number of pages. The book cover dimensions will change depending on whether your book is 70 pages or 150. Have you used the KDP calculator? It calculates your book dimensions based on the book's number of pages. Let me know if that was helpful :)
Maritza-This will be my 1rst activity book and I keep hearing that the pages should be in black & white, not color due to exhorbitant cost...Is that not true?
Hi there, yes it's true. I personally I had published a book and because I selected premium color I had to price the book at $17 and I only $1.18 per sale. It's insane. However, if you're not doing it for the money and you're thinking of doing volume then maybe it's worth it long-term.

Lol yes they do. Maybe try coloring books or word search puzzle books. They're black and white, and profitable when done right (keyword-optimized title, ads, etc)
