Couldnt you have used the awl on one end of the jig and the drill bit on the other as locator pins . Drill down one long side then the other..no measurements needed?

Cutting tenons on a bandsaw freehand. I thought he was gonna follow it up with some fine chisel work to fine tune the fit. I just hope the lumber used was a cheap, fast growing wood because those are some horrible workmanship. I know they are just trying to earn a living, but please learn your craft. Just because the case comes together and you can do it quickly doesn't mean it was well made.

Amazing workmanship. 1:11 he almost injures the cameraman moving that piece of wood and it flew out of the way. That looks like teak wood. It's a gorgeous wood. But it has deadly properties.
Bamboo and teak wood contain high amounts of silica and the dust can cause severe respiratory issues. How do I know this? My Wife's brother died a very young man (38) working in a furniture shop. No respirator.
Some of the mortise and tenon joints are great, only to be completely spoiled by terrible miter joints, veneer held on with brad nails, and much assembly done with brad nails, as well as very rough edges. Such a shame.
I've heard good feedback about the Woodglut plans.

Pensé exactamente lo mismo,además que les encanta trabajar en el piso,no utilizan banco de trabajo,obviamente están acostumbrados,pero el dolor de espalda te lo encargo,...El mueble propiamente tal quedo bonito,pero armado a clavo y tornillo,ni una sola gota de cola (cola fría,pegamento ...),salvo en el armado de los frentes de los cajones...

This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?
