    You know those non slip shelf liners you were talking about? I cut them up to size and layer them (3) inside the very bottom of my cup holders! This way it protects the lacquer on the bottom of my expensive Fude brushes from wear!
    I love your channel and your video content is always soo interesting xxx

    Nobody! I appreciate you for taking the time to do this. We need this because I was using a regular wash cloth to spot clean. So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💜💜💜💜

    Wonderful tips! I like using my natural hair products on my goat & silver fox eyeshadow brushes. Why buy extra products, right? Dr. Bronner’s Baby Soap to clean & Eco Styler Gel w/Argonne Oil to reshape. My goat & silver fox face brushes are a little too dense for gel, so I use brush guards. I will be trying out the Hakuhodo brush soap for my squirrel brushes when I’m ready to wash them🌺

    Great Video. I was looking for what type of microfiber towel to use. and came across your channel. I have Sonia G's towel but it's expensive to buy duplicates of it. I didn't know about not letting the brush hairs touch. I have one White Canadian squirrel brush and I don't want to damage it. Love your storage advice, I was also looking for new ways to store them when not in use.

    What a GREAT GREAT GREAT video...I’m definitely a Fude lover and my collection is crazy! I love the brush drying rack. I purchased the Aloe Gel years ago after seeing Stephanie Nicole’s video (she gave Tarababyz the credit), I have a neighbor who is a Veterinarian, and she recommended another conditioning idea to me. I actually put a few drops of concentrated aloe extract in the rinse water, and it keeps wonderfully conditioned and in great shape. I’m going to try the Alori Cleanser and purchase that drying rack. Thanks Tina

    Would it matter what kind of materials is a brush guard is? I would think the hardish plastic of the brush guard would break the hair in time.

    3-5 years? I have MAC natural hair brushes that are almost 20 years old, what makes fude brushes so much more delicate? Heck no, not for hundreds of dollars. I do have a few Hakuhodo eye brushes and I have microfiber towel because the color switch is WAY too harsh to use with those. So you have good advice!

    • @thefancyface
      @thefancyface  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      3-5 years is the manufacturers' recommended life of the brushes. This doesn't mean your brushes won't last much longer is you take proper care of them. It is just an industry life span that is assigned.

    YES YES YES to brush guards - it drives me wild when I see people storing brushes all mashed together and not protecting them!
    You can get them so cheaply and it saves all your brushes from becoming misshapen and ratty.
    I love the brush cups with lids and snap closures for storage - keeps them dry and dust free.
    If i am using them I keep them in a open container small enough to hold them upright and keep them in a closed cabinet to keep them dust free.
    I wash once per month if using them on a regular basis.
