I appreciate that the comments I see are all quite positive. A person doesn't reach this state without serious physical or mental health problems. There is great shame in living like this regardless of where you are in the world. No one wants to live like this. It is not something they chose, and is not a moral failure. It doesn't make them bad people, they are just people in need of help. Thank you all for helping him.

Либо они находятся в ловушке депрессии, из-за которой любые усилия кажутся бесполезными, либо это какая-то другая психологическая проблема, которая заставляет их бездействовать. Здоровому человеку это трудно понять, но те, у кого есть такие проблемы, действительно не могут действовать под свою ответственность..... Почитайте что-нибудь о депрессии и связанном с ней синдроме Месси....

Je trouve que le résultat est bien entendu fantastique, mais c'est du nettoyage fait en surface et non en profondeur.
Il est surprenant de voir qu'ils nettoient avec un produit moussant et que la crasse liquide obtenue est simplement essuyée avec un chiffon et jamais rincée à l'eau claire 🤔
Tous ces travailleurs sont admirables parce que rien que l'odeur doit donner des hauts le cœur 🤮
J'ai été auxiliaire de vie et le nettoyage, j'en ai fait énormément, il faut avoir du courage et le cœur bien accroché avec surtout de la compassion 🤗

Well done to this Cleaning Team who worked so patiently and skillfully with a very good vision. This is what community should be about. Keeping an unintrusive eye out for circumstances like this. It appears that the gentleman gave up the will to live. I hope that he sees this as a new lease of life and gets back up emotionally. It looks like something traumatic started the downward spiral. Contratulations to the neighbours who kept complaining until something positive came out of this situation. Thanks for sharing this video.

The place was huge, good job removing years of dirt and neglect. I don’t understand the circumstances of the neglect but it happens in all countries, some people just loose the will to remove the dirt piling up around them due I suspect to depression or mental illness of some sort. Thank you cleaning team for making a life living here more bearable.

I hear what you are saying but there was also a LOT of trash and a VERY unsanitary living situation. This is a bit more than someone wanting to hold on to some items with sentimental value. People don't live like this, and in this amount of filth, without having some pretty severe mental issues going on.

I would love to know what cleaning product was used to clean tiles and grouting in the bathroom and shower cubicle. That is the most difficult to clean ... bathroom mildew.

A place like that cannot be cleaned completely. The smell stays until you redo the walls from brick. Around 8 years ago I bought a similar apartment, with the intention to redo it completely but i wasn’t expecting to need so much work.
You need a high powered construction vacuum, not brooms! I owned a cleaning business and cleaned many filthy hoards like this. It's a sad thing for people to live like this. I'm glad you're doing the work, but get those industrial vacuums. You'll be glad you did!

Thank God for accepting people like you that see the glass half full. I used to be like that, but life has changed since my ex-wife cheated on me many years ago. I've turned very mistrusting and cynical. I look at these video's and my reaction is pure disgust that someone could allow these conditions. I continuously befuddled as to why others would bother cleaning someone elses mess, when they know the home will be trashed within days of them doing all this cleanup work. I know, I'm an awful person...I guess I'm lucky that I have family that care about me enough to never allow this to happen to me, as I'd never allow that to happen to any of my loved ones.
