I would like to ask something, if someone on T2 Visa gets married, can the spouse apply through dependant visa and would there be any need of IELTS?
Hi Nanelle, thanks for the clarification, God bless you. So, the dependents who is above 18 years must write the English Proficiency Test as one of the requirements for the ILR. And please is there any required band score for it?

for extending the dependent visa on ILR, does the dependant need a sponsor license number or it no longer matters for them too?

Hi Nanelle! Avid follower here. May i just ask, looking forward if incase you would have your british citizenship and for example your husband is in a different tier 2 visa. Will your husband have to wait 12months after receiving his ILR Status before he can apply for citizenship or he can just apply straight away? Hope you read and answer my quiry.Thanks!🙏🙂
Please I want help in clarifying the issue of 180 days absence in a year for ILR.
If a partner doesn't permanently live in the UK, but goes and comes once in a while, how does that affect his ILR?
If a partner leaves the UK say January 21st, when is he supposed to enter the UK again to beat the 180 days? And for how long is he supposed to stay before leaving again?
Also read that except for work, companionate leave, illness etc that wen they can be exempted. How true is this?
If the dependent partner works in another country, will the above be applicable to him?

Nanelle iv seen a family on TH-cam who the mum got ILR but she didnt apply for the kids. She said since they werent travelling she waited another year and they applied for citizenship instead. Is that possible and wont the other family who are on any visa be considered illegal?
No it’s not illegal. Remember their dependant visa is still valid . It hasn’t expired yet.

HI Nanelle, thanks for your video. My issue is with the life in the UK test. Most British don't know anything about their root but they want us to know everything.
My question thus;
If you don't pass the life in the UK test and your visa expires, what happens to you and your job?

Heyaa nanielle am a dependant to my husband whose not a British and he is in the uk for only 2years with T2 visa route . But I got pregnant FOR someone who has ILR am I suppose to apply for ILR Or continue with the 5year term
I think you should add your kids father's name on your birth certificate so they can get British citizenship but you will have to continue as a dependent on your husbands visa unless you want to divorce him.

No. They’re still dependent on you. It’s just a different type of visa they’ll get. Currently applied for something similar for my husband as I just got my ILR as well

Yes please it’s only speaking and listening
But if they have a degree taught in English that is also acceptable
