Wings of Pegasus Thanks for doing this. You have so much insight and knowledge to share. Definitely more satisfying to hear your thoughts on his live performance rather than a prerecorded miming performance. I would LOVE to see you react to more live performances by him. Anyway, as a huge Dimash fan, I think I speak for all of us "Dears" when I say thanks for doing the live reaction!!! How about some more??? You have a great way about you of explaining things. Pls do more Dimash for us??🙃
Could you watch this fancam & tell us if this is lipynced? th-cam.com/video/8k1AHMxq-0g/w-d-xo.html do you ever analyze on the fly, or do you prepare?? All of his singer performances are live, plus he plays the drums, piano, and dombra during performances. I'm a subscriber of yours now. Lol
OMG, my hours go by listening to everything Dimash, old lady addiction to amazing young singer. I know there must be other things I could be looking for, or at, but NO, here I am spending my days doing Dimash.
Es ist sehr schön, dass Sie diese wunderbare Sache gefunden haben und sich ihr hingeben können. PS: es geht mir ähnlich, seit 1st time in 2024/January. Ich wünsche Ihnen weiterhin ganz viel Freude und Bewegtheit mit dem Gesang des wunderbaren Dimash.
@@signedra1970 Since Israel has started this genocide, I am spending hours learning what the history is, and what is happening there, Dimash is an antidote to the pain we are all in over the slaughter of innocents in Gaza and the West Bank, I learned today, Germany is arresting Jewish activists and shutting down speech when it doesn't support the German country supporting Israels genocide of Palestinians.
I am in my 70's and I discovered Dimash early this year. I am addicted and have to listen to him every day especially if I'm having a bad day. I adore this absolutely beautiful young man. He has a voice that seems to touch my soul.
I heard him live in London! There is this richness and power to his voice that one can't hear through the speakers at home. I love Dimash because he doesn't use autotune etc, he sings live most of the time (even in Russia, when it's a solo concert), and he sings like no other. For me the best singer, and I'm sure others could agree that he is the most unique singer out there. I just can't think of any other singer with such a wide vocal range, a variety of singing styles, zero hesitation to sing in a dozen languages, and who can also compose and play various instruments. And after all the success, remains humble. My favourite female singer, Eva Ayllon, has recently declared Dimash to be the best singer... so I reassured myself that I'm not crazy! Thanks Fil for your videos. It was particularly fascinating to hear about the relation between his hand movements and vocal chords, as well as mental imagery, such as playing the piano.
@@cranky1812 Yes, it's really worth it! Not only does his voice sound different, on another level, but he oozes charisma! He reaches every member of the audience, somehow. Just amazing.
Totally agree with you! Heard him in New York for the first time....didn’t think it was possible but yes, his voice is even more beautiful live! I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real!
Thank you for putting Dimash in such a bright light. He really deserves it. Everyone knows every singer might mime their songs sometimes. It depends on their health condition, or studio or show rules. What makes me mad, is that every-time when he has a performance someone has to fight in the groups to convince the fans he’s sang in playback. WE DO NOT CARE and that’s because we know already who’s Dimash, we know his huge potential. As fans( dears) we should support this brilliant young man, cause he deserves it in full.
Thanks for your input and for this incredible fancam showing this exceptional run from Know and so many special moments! The studio version of Ikaniade is so special, too, if you haven't seen it--the comments said the expensive microphone pick up those breathy endings. He does everything first class!
Discovery and intelligent in delivery and exquisitely memorizing. I never heard of this guy until I saw just this morning after 4am this :Dimash, gentleman. Fil good morning, thanks for the upload. His voice is absolutely haunting chilling like possibly people with such a voice sang in ancient Russia or Mongolia, sounds almost like a melancholy call moving towards a triumphant resolution, yes I have friends who are mostly that cultural heritage. Today is 11-12-21 and I just watched your video. I have been following Dimash for close to 5 years now and until listening to this analysis, I had no idea about his visual imagery or the meaning of his hand gestures. I was aware, however, how Dimash uses energy, as well as the power of meditation. I am almost 70 years old and I have never - ever - encountered anyone like Dimash. Up until right this moment, I’m learning things about him - and with awe. Dimash is a gift to us all!! Thank you, WP, for this informative video!
Thank you for checking him out again and taking the time to explain all stuff to us. I got the wrong impression because I could not underdstand why you would pick a lipsynced one as your first reaction over so many live ones. But now I understand it! There has been many that dont know their stuff and are saying he lipsyncs even all the consert performances that he sings live so we dears have gotten overprotective. But you proved to be legit and professional, thank you!
@@wingsofpegasus Wow. You walked unintentionally headfirst into a buzzsaw. Dimash fans are very passionate about him. I think it is cool they stood up for him. What's cooler is that you recognized the misinterpretation and set about to fix it. You did this with esteem for Dimash and your proven character. Sometimes what I learn here has nothing to do with the music.🌟
This is an absolutely fascinating analysis and explanation. I always thought Dimash sang with his hands, but now I know why and how, and I'll be watching his hands even more now. It makes me appreciate even more just how hard he is working as he gifts us with his spectacular voice. I'm not surprised at all by the fact that sometimes he is forced to lip sync. I knew that Russia specifically had certain rules about it. I just feel bad for Dimash that he has to do it even when he'd much rather sing live. Thank you so much for sharing your insight and observations with us.
Dimash is something else. Just the whole package comes along once in 10 thousand years. He's a beautiful human being. Dimash is a master of his being. So self contained. Substantially rich . Goosebumps and takes your breath away one minute....then conquers with the power of a....I don't know what. Magnetic. Thanks for your mini class.
Fil that was a GREAT follow up video analysis! Showing the live performance REALLY helped me (and I think others) realize what an amazing talent this artist has. I am so glad you took this analysis a step further.
Well anyone will not believe dimash sing live..cause hes alien 🤣...if u watch him singing love is like a dream acapella..u will shocked..how he play with his voice are blessing from god
He is the best singer I’ve ever heard in my life bar none ! He moves me to my very soul ,his magnificent voice and emotional commitment to every song is mesmerizing and captivating. You always give such a detailed knowledgeable analysis, which makes me appreciate the music even more when it is broken down . Thank you so much !!!
Thank you 💗 He said in a interview "Music is my life. In fact im just an ordinary person who is working hard, positiv and motivated. if you open my heart, you will see music. If you open my brain, you will also find music"
Kudos to you for making another analysis for our prince and your explanation for your 1st analysis. I am a huge Dimash fan, since i discovered him 2 years ago he has became my daily dose. Dimash is unique and he is the only singer that i can get connected to when he sing. I am grateful that i am living at the sametime as him. Thank you for coming back to this, Fil. As a longtime subscriber of yours and a *very* big admirer of Dimash's exceptional vocal skills and artistry, I appreciate the second look.
@@janeb1484 I'm not sure if you're implying that I didn't watch the first video, or implying that I wasn't aware you did? Neither would be correct, so I've probably misunderstood your comment to me.
Second bite of the cherry is certainly sweeter in this case Fil! The command this young man has of his voice is incredible! Being able to connect with his voice totally live was really amazing! Thank you revisiting him again tonight it gave me a completely different view! Cheers Mario! 😀👌🤘
I recommend everyone listens to BOTH last night's and tonight's video IN THEIR ENTIRETY to truly appreciate the journey you went on and the homework you did to bring us an excellent master class on vocal production as well as music production. Dimash was the perfect subject that allowed you to bring us through that journey with you, Fil. Still don't get why miming is the standard in Russia, but that's beside the point!
Not sure either but a vocalist friend of mine said some places don't like surprises or any type of ad-libbing. They want the performance to be perfect and clean like the studio recordings. And to fair Dimash does love playing with his voice.
@@janeb1484 Yep I'm aware. I'm also aware everyone does things differently and I'm completely fine with. I was simply relaying information about why some do that I got from a friend that sings. Didn't mean to sound like it was wrong.
Years ago, when he was finessing a note (s) he ran his thumb rapidly against his fingers mid air and it was so connected to his thought process, I absolutely loved it. In his maturing performance, he's stopped that and so many other like things and I miss them ! They were so unique to him. This brought all those memories back. 2022
Thank you for this fantastic analysis. I was a little flustered over yesterday's video to be honest, but my ire came more from the disrespectful comments some people were leaving about the miming than your actual analysis. In my mind, that's all people were getting from the analysis and it bugged me because we KNOW he's a fantastically skilled artist. It lightens my heart that you took the time to do a second analysis and dig into his skill in a live performance. Most of us know artists have to lip sync sometimes. Ignore the trolls (ie the faux fan who was giving you hell). I respect YOUR skill too much to place any blame on you for telling it like it is. And it's still his voice even if he's miming...the guy rocks. Have a blessed day!
Damned good analysis Fil. Honesty to a tee!! DimashK’s vocals are sublime no matter what song he sings. Must admit I never expected you to analyse DimashK at all, as he is relatively new in comparison to the old groups & bands you’ve been analysing and I’ve enjoyed them all. You’re very well spoken & precise in your breakdown per analysis. Keep up the great work...true!!

thank you soooooooooooo much! I have watched a lot, and I mean a lot of reaction videos on Dimash's singing by vocal teachers but no one has been so thorough and deep with the analysis. I enjoyed every minute of it and understand now what Dimash is doing a lot better once again. please keep doing analyses on Dimash. I am not going to send you suggestions of the songs where his vocal gymnastics are out of this world because you probably have them already. thanks a lot again! I suggest your video to be watched in Dimash's fanclub communities in Facebook as well.
Thank you so much for explaining Dimash’s hand movements. I am not a musician but I have been fascinated with his hands! Now I understand a bit better!
Thank you, Fil, this is an interesting analysis. I saw both videos about Dimash. Every normal human doubts if it is real to sing like he does. You have a very nice smile, really.
Wow, Fil! This was an eye-opener! I'm trying to learn how the head and chest voices switch, now I'm overwhelmed at the idea of visual imagery of one's own vocal chords. Clearly I've been clueless but each new layer of learning is an exciting build up to truly appreciate vocal! Thanks again for a spellbinding analysis,!
I never would have even thought to watch someones hands while they sing. This was so exciting to watch and have it all explained. Amazing to see the difference between yesterdays and todays performance. Thank you for teaching this to us!
I've always commented that Dimash sings as beautifully with his hands as he does with his voice...now I understand why. Thanks for the insightful analysis!
I'd like to see you analyze his Singer 2017 performance of S.O.S. In particular I'd like to see your impressions on the low to high, the switching to the Angelic sound and of course that absolutely crazy run at the end. It was his first performance I saw for him and I'm still fuzzy on how he's able to sing a single song and sound like multiple vocalists in perfect rhythm and harmony.
Yes you should start with year 2017 Singer Competition series ...one not to be missed and see his progress from there...he's not too perfect back then yet awesome
It's quite something watching the video along with your explanations. Gives a different perspective than what one would normally have. Thank you Fil. 💕
You're very kind considering how rudely put some of those comments were. Perusing through them myself; I guessed they had not listened entirely before making judgement. You're a gentleman. ⚘
Thank you so much for this reaction. As someone who was classically trained for 8 years during my youth, I definitely appreciate this. And with a fanbase as large as Dimash's, you're going to find that section that is more fanatic than fan. I've run into them myself. There are some who want to imagine that he's absolutely perfect and that isn't true. So many people call him an alien or angel, etc, which I take personally a bit, I guess. He wasn't born with this ability. He was born with longer vocal cords than most and with perfect pitch and some innate ability but he had to work his ass off for 20 yrs to achieve this. So to say he's not human, to me it steps on all those hundreds of hours of dedicated work. It's unfair to him. Also, a run-in I had once was when I watched a video which was obvious miming and I just stated that I, personally, prefer his live performances and I got chewed up by a couple of fans. "I was there live and I can tell you he was singing..." etc. You're never going to please those people as long as you plan on being honest with your experienced opinions. So please do what you do and take those people with a grain of salt. You did well. =)
Appreciate you for doing this! I completely agree about his postures and have noted it way earlier! I would also like to say, being a trained singer myself, and having observed him during rehearsal and live performance in person,he is completely capable of reproducing the studio version if required to a 98% accuracy. Except being able to catch very minute tonal shifts or a drag here, or an aah sound there, you won't be able to tell it apart with software. He is the master of vocals! My personal understanding is that he is bound with Igor to rework his songs, and when he performs with Igor, he may/may not have the freedom of free singing at all times, bar a few ones like this venue in Russia.. He does sing live though under the track even in such cases. You can check SOS from singer and SOS from ABU festival in Japan 3 days back to see how differently he presents the same song!
Thank you again! Here I am coming back to this! I love your observations and your pointing out the details of what Dimash is doing while singing and performing live. :)
I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique, besides having Master Igor Krutoy, who is a living Legend .... spectacular, ... beautiful. Love from Texas.♥️ I am very happy, I have my tickets for his concert in Brooklyn Dec. 10.
Thanks for your wonderful analysis of Dimash’s performances. He is so incredible. I believe he is the best technically trained singer in the world today. When he performs he actually becomes MUSIC. DKIFC. 🎼🎶🎤❤️🇺🇸
Thank you Thank you for your analysis of his hand gestures. I had noticed his hands give a hint of what is going on with his voice - as when he is going up to a higher range, he raises his hand over his head somewhat, with his index finger and thumb touching. Sometimes when he trills, he looks like he is strumming the instrument native to Kazakhstan and sometimes piano. His hands and fingers are long and slim, and he is so graceful. His performances are events.
When he touches his chest is at the same moment when he is singing the line "through the heart" (in Russian). So the lyrics seem to play the part in his imagery too.
I absolutely love to watch the reactions on every ones face as they are watching Dimash perform. Their eyes light up and sparkle along with marvelous smiles that express the joy and amazement that can’t be subdued. Whether young or old , male or female. We just love Dimash!❤️❤️❤️
Après avoir massacré les paroles de la chanson emblématique Française" SOS d'un terrien en détresse ", je peux vous garantir que bon nombre de francophones n'ont pas apprécié et que cette chanson restera liée avant tout à l'âme de Daniel Balavoine.
I wasn't even thinking about body language until u mentioned it!!!!!!! Celine does similar hand gestures too. Now I know why!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for explaining how the voice and body language all work in conjunction with each other. Quite fascinating!
@@wingsofpegasus One thing that I forgot to mention is when you said it is a necessity for artist to lip sync to maintain their voices. As I mentioned Celine prier, she gets a TON of criticism for lip syncing parts of her live performances. It is quite unfair!!! For an artist that has been pretty much singing non-stop for close to four decades at this point and still singing at a VERY high standard to be criticized for doing what is best to maintain her voice is RIDICULOUS!!!
Fil, this was an amazing analysis video, your breakdown and explanation of his technique was intriguing. What a great guy you are to do a live performance of Dimash tonight. Applause!!!
Totally enjoyed this reaction. I didn't finish last night's video, but watched many of your analysis of other artists that I thoroughly enjoyed. I've subscribed and am now returning to finish yesterday's Dimash analysis. Thank you for your good work.
Dimash singing SOS in Singer 2017 is the gold standard of analysis and reaction videos. This song is what put him on the map. It is a very difficult song to sing and he sings it masterfully mindboggling. It is a very sad depressing song and he has the right expressions throughout the entire song to do the words and music justice like no one else can. But right at the end of the song, he can't keep from smirking just a bit, because he knows he nailed it. Watch it just for the smirk. But do an analysis. People from all over the world check every week just to see the latest analysis of this video. You will get lots of hits and fans you would not get otherwise.
My favorite version of SOS as well! You are one of those, who had noticed the smirk, I also absolutely adore 😍. The singer is live but the show does post production on every contestants! At least, that's what I heard! What exactly post production means would be interesting! Do they pitch correct? Meaning the audience hears or heard the live vocal? Maybe FIL can explain this sometime. If he has already... please recommend me the video!

Soooo interesting analyzed!!!! I went to Dimash's concert once (WOW Arena) and realized how much more connection you see between his vocals and body in comparison to lipsynced videos in a way he approaches new phrases or notes with intense face expressions and body movements. He sang every song differently from the studio version and very creatively and unique. When you miss some nice moment you used to from the recorded song, you get just right after even more to be stunned by. The mimed performances which are usually the most popular because of TV and the quality and the occasion make me think that artists probably can’t sing that good at all and raise suspiciousness in me which I don’t like.
Just incredible. The intonation, the passion, the song, the chord changes, the musicianship, and the love of his craft are all propping up the experience for me. Astounding.
Dimash is unique! There is no need to analyse his singing! Just enjoy, he is only one in the world! He performs always live and in different ways! #Dimash Kudaibergen is national treasure of my country! #Kazakhstan
this is Fils channel and if you took time to see what he does and who he is - you would know he analyses videos - did you actually watch either video in full - then you would know
Analysis is the best way for others to learn if they are singers too. Some people like to understand it on a deeper level too, even when they don't sing themselves ☺

His whole Bastau concert is something I just have to recommend. My personal favourite is his "Daybreak" cover and very impressive his "Diva Dance" cover.
Wasn't meaning it to be a comparison in talent only that they are who he reminds me of I his storytelling ability. I could name others that are great at storytelling with the qualities of their voices but I figured more people would know them worldwide. Plus I know Fil knows and respects those artists talents do they were good examples.
Wow! Brilliant analysis -- that first 6 minutes (heck, the entire video) is pure gold. I'm not the only one who has noticed the hands of Dimash and I have often noted to myself the same thing you mentioned: that he paints a song in the air around him (as though he were conducting himself). It's so cool to hear you actually bring up how he synchronizes his hands with the movement of his vocal cords. And some things about his mimed performances now make more sense to me: he does use his hands in most of them but not nearly as effectively (or purposefully, I should say) as he does in a live performance. That doubles the sense I get of lack of connection with his audience: the hands are just flailing about and he is doing impressive and dramatic moves, but they have little organic connection to the internal workings that would produce the sound. I hope you get a chance to analyze some of Dimash's other live, especially earlier, performances. He's truly a magnificent singer and interpreter. In Moscow, in March, Dimash did two concert performances of this song, then more typically titled "Ascolta la Voce." They were both live. Russian TV later released the "official" version of the concert, with a studio overlay of the audio for this song. The song has been reworked a bit since then, to give the one in your recent videos, and the title is now "Know." There's even a nice MV of it. (BTW, that's Dimash's father sitting with him on the couch in that one clip.)
@@ptxdearpearsDQ Likely from his mother's side. She's primarily Russian and Kazakh but she also Swedish ancestry. Scandinavians men are typically around 6'. That's my guess. His sister is tall for a female.
Thank you for your reaction and comments. Since I first watched him I have thought he may also have Sound-Color Synesthesia or Chromesthesia. He does sing with his hands, and it's beauty to watch.
I just saw Dimash and Plaxido Domingo sing opera, the Pearl Fisher's Duet. It's insane what he can do with his voice. Would be interesting to see how it has developed or what has changed.
i agree with everything u said, i'm a big fan of dimash.. & it's kind of disappointing when some of dimash fans too persistent say that dimash always sing live. if someone says "lip sync" the fans gone crazy. there is always a reason why he cant sing live,it must be the contract or something. just info all dimash performance in the singer 2017 live for sure because it was competition in china. & check dimash sing our love in the masked singer in china as well. & his concert live. but mostly dimash sing live
Those fans like that should better go to hell, I've got headache with them, they're talking shit about ones whom doubted Dimash lipsynced, as a fan myself, I admit that Dimash lipsynced or perhaps sang over playback sometimes, it's a truth that whoever points it out, I won't mind it because we've already known what Dimash's a capable of, he's not singing live all the times as those trash fans usually said, just wait till they come here and put me down with their nonsense comments xD
The reason many fans got extremely disturbed when the idea of lip-syncing came out is that there are certain people who made their lives' mission to accuse Dimash of lip-syncing all the time. If a song is sung the same way it's by default lip-synced. If the song is so different from other versions they would say he lipsynced in certain parts and sang live in a few notes, which is simply ridiculous. They even say he creates different versions of studio tracks to lip-sync to. Basically nothing can ever prove to them that Dimash ever sings live, unless he makes a mistake, which is very very rare. Obviously these people are haters for whatever reason. Many Dimash fans are sick and tired of fighting these accusers on YT and other social media outlets. That's why we get this knee-jerk reaction to any such accusations. However, as long as there are good evidence showing the contrary, all of us fans are willing to accept the facts. We will not, however, submit to the logic that a performance is automatically lip-synced as long as it's flawless and (to the naked, untrained ear) sounds the same as the studio version or another performance.
Wow, so refreshing to see such authenticity in a reaction. I think most of us reactors are often complicit of being overly positive and rarely point out negative things by fear of getting destroyed in the comments. For example, I never published our Dimash "Notre Dame de Paris" reaction because as a French-Canadian I didn't like that performance at all (I could not understand a single word). I am sure other reactors also never publish some negative or neutral reaction, and it's a shame really because it gives a false impression that we are all always on the same page.
Thank you for the follow up video Fil. I never watch singers perform live because most of can't sing as good as studio version. And Dimash not only does things with his voice that I never heard before but he can all do this live! And I think he uses his hands the most with this song. Another reaction that focuses on stage presence mentioned he gathers energy from his gestures and stances. I would really like to see more of your analyes on Dimash :), Thank you so much again!
Wow! I've seen A LOT of Dimash reactions from vocal coaches and musicians and I've gotta say this one is one of the best I've seen! You're explanation on his hand movements makes so much sense! Thank you! Great reaction! 😊
Wow. So interesting! What an education. Thank you so much for your knowledge and insight again. This singer is something else in terms of range and technique.
Just because that one person, who is probably isn't even Russian, told you that ALL the performances on the Russian TV are lip synced doesn't make it true. There are lots of shows that air live. Often times, it's written in the top corner of a screen that it's live (Живой Звук in Russian) but not necessarily...Anyway, there are plenty of live Dimash performances from Russia...And with his perfect pitch and his amazing mastery of his voice, he can improvise on scene or he can choose to sing a song EXACTLY the same as he did in a recorded version. I've been to his concert and I've seen enough of his rehearsals to say that. Speaking of his hand movements, he does that mental imagery a lot and it's fascinating to watch, but again he doesn't do it all the time. It's not like he won't be able to hit a certain note if he doesn't help himself with hand gestures. Also, his body language, including his arms/hands movements, represent the lyrics of this song. Like here in this performance, when he put his hand over his heart, he was singing that love tears the hearts...when he opened his arms, the line he sang was about the lovers having two wings...
Yes:) This is from MUZ Tv Awards in Russia..and its live. th-cam.com/video/EPnnhVjZZag/w-d-xo.html&start_radio=1 (fancam..a little wobbly at the beginning)
@@wingsofpegasus I wanted to add this too. Not all Russian concerts are playback. Even the first know at new wave, if you take a look at his larynx, you will notice the hole when he goes to the stoccatos, it's clear in fancam. That's why I say, he always sings live, doesn't mime, but at certain events they use the track. Ppl mistake it thinking he never sings it. And he actually interprets the lyrics with the hands as well. So I request you to take a look at his face, neck and larynx apart from the body postures to analyse his live performances. Now , if he doesn't move his hands or do any gestures that you pointed out,, again ppl will accuse him of playback. Its very difficult for many to accept that he can do it live. Many of us have heard him at rehearsal without the whole backing , so it's really annoying when even his live performances are called fake. He sings different songs with different gestures. So when you do his next one, chip that in please.
Dimash never ever lipsyncs, even when he should. I recall one period of time-last year, I think-where he had a bad throat infection for a good couple weeks or so. He would have been entirely justified to lipsync so as to spare his throat the extra trouble when it was already in poor condition, but he still sang live. Had to get steroid injections in his throat on a few separate instances just to be able to sing at all. There's one video from that time where you can actually see how red his throat was...unfortunately, I've lost the link to that one :/
@@youlleatamuffinandlikeit4596 If Dimash sings live with a throat infection and needs injections to be a able to do it, he is an IDIOT. If he continues doing it, his career will be very short, because he will loose his voice soon. But it seems, you don't use your brain, either, if you don't realize, that human body gets irreparably damaged, if one repeatedly abuses it. You admire him here for an extremely unhealthy behavior, which will inevitably destroy his singing ability. What a waste of a great talent and many years of hard work. And his world tour is starting soon, with way too long, way too physically exhausting (due to dancing/running/jumping), too frequent concerts and the little time between them spend on airplanes instead of resting and vocal training. If what you say is true, then 2020 will be the end of the great singer Dimash and during that year he will deteriorate into a mediocre pop singer, if he is lucky, and if he is unlucky, his voice will get destroyed completely and he won't be able to perform at all.
Thank you for reacting to Dimash, and your explanation. He, I believe, was born knowing how to sing. After all, his Mother is a famous opera singer in Kazahkstan. Dimash is highly trained. Music King. My favorite singer right now who ticks all the boxes for me is Hua Chenyu. An incredible singer who reaches into one's soul. They were both on The Singer at the same time. Found both of them through YT Marcelito Pomoy. Dr. Mark analyzes thoroughly, too. Thank you, you do a really fantastic job! I'm sure all Dears are gearing up for the upcoming concert in NY.
I'm no expert, but I've also heard what Russian television will do is take a performance that WAS performed live & slap a pre-recorded track over it when it airs. I believe there are fan cams of these kinds of performances, that show he was singing live & giving a lovely performance & for some reason they feel the need to have the studio audio instead. Great analysis, but the way!
I appreciated both of your videos! I read the comments on the first one and thought a lot of people were missing the point because you were still saying how good Dimash is! I didn't know that you LS on Russian tv so good job for the clarification! I am a 'Dear' so Dimash, to me, has an amazing voice and ability, which I can see you think so too, so thanks for both analysis's (?) Rock!
After addressing last night's video, analysis of the performance starts at 6:30 :)
Wings of Pegasus 👍
Wings of Pegasus Thanks for doing this. You have so much insight and knowledge to share. Definitely more satisfying to hear your thoughts on his live performance rather than a prerecorded miming performance. I would LOVE to see you react to more live performances by him. Anyway, as a huge Dimash fan, I think I speak for all of us "Dears" when I say thanks for doing the live reaction!!! How about some more??? You have a great way about you of explaining things. Pls do more Dimash for us??🙃

No problem!
Wow you saw him live. Someday I will watch him live.
@@cranky1812 Yes, it's really worth it! Not only does his voice sound different, on another level, but he oozes charisma! He reaches every member of the audience, somehow. Just amazing.
Димаш живет в Казахстане, он казахский певец.... а в Лондоне он давал концерт!
I didn't think I could appreciate Dimash more, but now I can't stop watching his hands! Thank you for your analysis!

No problem! ☺
Fil is legit and will analyze everything even the dirty parts we may not want to hear lol
I agree. There are many Dimash performance obviously made live but this commentator claiming expert in this field choose recorded one. Intentionally?
@@mkhasen he already clarified it was requested.

This is my 2nd time watching this video. It's so fascinating to listen to your analysis of Dimash. Thank you very much~!!
Thanks Linda!

Must admit I never expected you to analyse DimashK at all, as he is relatively new in comparison to the old groups & bands you’ve been analysing and I’ve enjoyed them all. You’re very well spoken & precise in your breakdown per analysis. Keep up the great work...true!!
My goodness! Dimash must have a 6 octave range or thereabouts! Thank you for your hard work in putting this analysis together!
The most fantastic male voice I've ever experienced.

Wow, Fil! This was an eye-opener! I'm trying to learn how the head and chest voices switch, now I'm overwhelmed at the idea of visual imagery of one's own vocal chords.
I would also love to see Fil analyse his performance of SOS.
It's quite something watching the video along with your explanations. Gives a different perspective than what one would normally have. Thank you Fil. 💕
You're very kind considering how rudely put some of those comments were. Perusing through them myself; I guessed they had not listened entirely before making judgement. You're a gentleman. ⚘
Am loving watching your smiles breaking out when you appreciate different things he does. Thank you
Thank you so much for this reaction. =)
Thanks!

Agreed, haters doubted him singing live because of his accuracy.so sometimes he improvisied

I can add it to my list, but I tend to just work my way through the requests ☺
Love that smirk sooo human

Astounding.

Dimash is a great storyteller. He reminds me artists like the Righteous Brothers or Robert Plant who can take you on a journey with their voices.
Not to be rude, but there is no comparison, Chris Bennett...
You mean the well dressed gentleman grinning ear to ear at his son lol. Yeah proud papa.
@@chrisbennett6236 LOL. And proud he should be. His son is incredible. I spend more time these days listening to Dimash than any other singer.
Thanks David!
Would be interesting to see how it has developed or what has changed.
thanks for doing this,LOVE him sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i agree with everything u said, i'm a big fan of dimash..
I am not alone :')
Димаш, уникальный, гений вокала!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for the follow up video Fil. I never watch singers perform live because most of can't sing as good as studio version. And Dimash not only does things with his voice that I never heard before but he can all do this live! And I think he uses his hands the most with this song. Another reaction that focuses on stage presence mentioned he gathers energy from his gestures and stances. I would really like to see more of your analyes on Dimash :), Thank you so much again!
Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your explanation on Dimash.
Wow! I've seen A LOT of Dimash reactions from vocal coaches and musicians and I've gotta say this one is one of the best I've seen! You're explanation on his hand movements makes so much sense! Thank you! Great reaction! 😊
Thanks!
Your video made me realize how great singer Dimash is!! 🥰😘😍🥰😘😍
Wonderful analysis!!! I’ll b waiting for more!!!
I'm looking forward to January 16 to witness Dimash's online concert !!!!!
Dear Fil, much kuddos to you for doing another reaction. Truly appreciated.
I'm so excited ! A reaction about Dimash Kudaibergen . My favorite male singer extraordinaire! ( next to you of course ) .
Wow. So interesting! What an education. Thank you so much for your knowledge and insight again. This singer is something else in terms of range and technique.
У Димаша действительно поющие..музыкальные руки! Есть даже видео на эту тему!

Your observations of Dimash’s technic can well be applied to LIFE itself... Thank U!!!
Yes the hand gestures may change with performances, but there is a definite link between his body and the notes.
Thank you for reacting to my favourite singer again😘😘
Perfect analysis ! Thank you! I adore him singing Know. Just fabulous.
When he has to mime it doesn’t bother me, it’s still his voice.!
A perfect showing of when the performer becomes the music......Great reaction mate.
Exquisite performance. Great analysis, thanks.
From the beginning of watching Dimash, I've noticed he uses his voice as if it's a musical instrument.
Thanks!
