Story of a chimp named Lucy who was the first of her species to communicate with human through use of sign language raised here in the States and then taken to the Gambia, west Africa for rehabilitation and release.

@jackofnone9439 Same here. They used to have it up, and I'd watch them back to back. They were so relaxing to watch.
@@furrynation2117 Our whole family would gather around the TV Saturday evenings when this show came on...we never missed an episode. Boy are those days long gone. Now we have reality show marathons, or some other silly crap.
@@jackofnone9439 I grew up when Animal Planet, the Discovery, and History Channels still were about animals, the world and actual history. I was in my teens when I saw all three degrade into their current state of Ancient Aliens, mocumentaries, and freaking tree house masters. WHY IS a show abut TREE HOUSES on ANIMAL PLANET??
