Wow! I love your setup. Would you consider making another one to sell? I looked at and I liked the MotionXP system for flight however the driving videos he posted has the system to bouncy and not like driving on a hard surface like yours does. I don't know if it's an adjustment issue or software but it does not respond to the car or the terrain as aggressively as yours does. I don't want to purchase that unit and find out once it arrives that it can not replicate the driving as aggressively as yours does. Any insight from you would be truly welcomed.
hey man, thank you! yes, the orientation of my seat is more towards racing. the biggest difference between my seat and the motionXP is the spindle/ballscrew pitch. i use 10mm and motionXP uses 20mm. this allows me to adjust my seat a little more directly, as the resolution is doubled. but fast long movements are not as smooth as they are with the motionXP seat. and yes, a lot depends on the setting. i'm sure you can also find a very satisfactory setting with the motionXP seat. my seat is more of a hobby project. while the motionXP seat is already professional. i hope i was able to help you. :)
Thanks, I wonder if I were to purchase all the parts that you utilized to build yours, how hard would it be for me to build a system similar to yours. I already have a professional cnc and a large wood workshop in my home with all the tools. I use a cad program called Vectric Aspire for all of my cnc work. Do you have a parts list and a how to video with the sources where to purchase all the parts including the servos and actuators that you used for your rig. Is this something that you sell/provide? Also, how big of a task do you think this is for me to take on? I do have the time and I grasp things fairly quick
@@andrewes7516 unfortunately i don't have a list and i don't currently sell anything like this. but i can highly recommend the forum.www.xsimulator.net/community/ there you will find lots of good ideas and also everything you need for a motion seat. you will have lots of questions when building. a community is exactly what will help you.
Das muss Bock machen 😄👍
Bocken tut es. Naja.. tut es immer. 😂
