I have a suffering of the mind. My mind goes to worst case very often. The frequent possibilities that flood my thoughts are what is my sacrifice up to this point. It is a sacrifice in suffering to feel like I am a prisoner in Christ in what come to my mind of what could happen by being a follower of Christ. To follow at the cost up to and until death IS the suffering for me up to this point. To be laxed in counting the cost of salvation is to forfeit the faith. What would you DO for Christ? That IS the question.
Like the dog owner training his new dog .he owns the dog..purchased I t..then when the dog is learning to obey his owners commands..he grows in assurance of his master's love. Lol
Any assurance that is contingent upon the one being saved offers no certainty of assurance. True assurance rests upon the finished and continuing work of Christ. It’s evidence is in the fact that one has faith in Christ alone. This is enough evidence for certainty, the fact that you believe is proof that you can be certain that it was by His doing that you are in Christ Jesus. “This is not a matter of doctrine so much as of practical pastoral application of doctrine. Nevertheless, the shift from warning believers against introspection in an effort to discern evidences to encouraging it was very important practically. If assurance is not of the essence of saving faith, and it can be lost because of sin, sensitive persons will inevitably scrape their consciences raw until they find clues and, as Calvin warned, there will be no satisfaction with evidences; there will never be enough to secure the soul's confidence.”

If you Study this and Seek Jesus and HIS Righteousness. He will Help you. He has Helped me come to Complete Peace. Stop listening to Men..they only confuse you with their own opinions..in the bible and out. Jesus..Alone..is the Only Way! May Jesus Bless you!
